You probably even don't understand, how many people you have helped through the deepest shit in their lives with your songs. I have survived multiple broken hearts, I've lost 4 friends in the past 2 years and I've gone through more in younger years, abusive parents, bullying in school.... Every time that I think this is it, listening to your music brings me back to life. Don't stop. I fully appreciate your songs, keep on going :)

I've lost everything financially, and It's taken so much out of me, filed chapter 7 back in 2018, Take full accountability for it and it was one of the worst days in my life. The minute someone calls me a failure or tells me what Im doing wrong, my body tells me I'm worthless and I hide. All I need someone to tell me at work or even when Im with friends is "you are enough and I'm proud of you." Im 35, going to be 36 and having to seek validation from people is exhausting, I don't even care. I just want someone to tell me Im enough and I can feel safe to come home

My parents always say “hearing those depressed songs makes you depressed” but the truth is that these songs just describe my feelings and make me happy knowing that I’m not the only one going through hell in my thoughts... my parents don’t listen when I say that I feel bad and not worth of anything... this song made me happier, thank you!

I Lost my friend December 23. 2023 she helped through so much when she passed away all that came back I found this song and it helped me through my heart being broken and depression and anxiety and PTSD thank you citizen soldier

I kind of always need it. I try to find stuff like this to listen to when I'm down. But I am curious about others.

That word "You are Enough" and "So dont give up" is such a relief to hear. You guys never stop giving us something to remind us all that we are not alone and we don't need to follow other people expectations. This hit so deep and relief me so much of everything i have on my mind. Every words, lyrics in this song just give me so much happiness. It was something i really need to hear. Thank you again for amking such a great song. I very appreciate it. And I'm sure, others hearing this also feel the same way as i do. Thank you 😊

I'm currently in the process of seeking more intensive treatment for my depression and mental health as things aren't getting much better. I'm reaching some barriers and am struggling with feeling like I'm worth the effort. This song came at the perfect time, thank you for all you do ❤

Man, this band... the last 10 years, ive seen immeasurable strife. From a small town hero, to trying to find myself, to propping up others more broken than me. Carrying a loved one through addiction, to taking on their addiction, to suicide, to homelessness, to nothingness... I can't remember a single time I've shed tear for what this life has robbed me of. I just discovered this band, and I've listened to 3 songs so far and each of them has surfaced emotions I've refused to deal with.

I've been dealing with the most toxic "friend" imaginable for years now. They always bring me down mentally and make me feel worthless. So listening to this helps me feel better and reminds me that I am who I am, no matter what they say. Worsened by the fact that It's impossible for me to leave them. Not because I'm afraid, but because I need them to see the only person in my life who gives me genuine joy. Without the toxic one, I lose them forever. And that's....not something I want, to put it lightly.

Lost my 12 year old son in Sept 2022. He died at home in my arms. He was my whole world and since then I've felt like I no longer have a purpose. I probably wouldn't be here without citizen soldier. Been listening to this all morning. I can say I've never been a more dedicated fan of any other band. The reason I love your guy's music is the fact that your music always gives people hope and they feel like someone actually understands their feelings. Been a fan since around 2019/2020, and i can tell you that the journey I've made with you guys is absolutely life changing. I suffer with severe depression and started getting bullied so i started self harming just to escape the pain but my friend at college sent me this song and i immediately felt peace

I’m struggling hard dealing with a DV situation that won’t end…even though I left him almost 2 years ago. No one has ever said that to me before, but out of nowhere, here you are singing it. I don't know if you believe in God at all, but he spoke to me with your words and love that you put in this wonderful song.. I know you didn't write this thinking "this is for you Ian," but it still feels like you said it to me.. or like it was a message from God.. I've been struggling trying to love myself since my father died last summer, well for a lot longer than that, but I wasn't actively trying to change and love myself so that I can better love others until I realized that he wasn't going to be around to see it, I don't know why that was the catalyst, but God works in mysterious ways, just as he used my fathers tragedy to show himself to me through his peaceful comfort despite finding out my father had died that night, been talking to God a lot since then, trying to love myself since the bible says his children and believers are worthy, I couldn't get my head around it, but something just clicked after hearing you sing this.. Thank you for telling me that I am enough. Such simple words, almost no one realizes what they can mean to someone who is in the midst of fighting the dark parts of themselves. You're the first to ever say that to me, powerful words... Thank you so so much, I love you man and whoever wrote the lyrics (if it wasn't you)

I’ve been going through some pretty severe on and off depression for the past while and honestly the message from this song is something I needed to hear.

I have listen to Citizen Soldier's songs for years now. Their songs have helped me through horrible times. Sometimes I feel like I'm never going to be enough and I feel like I'm constantly being reminded it from my past. This song is good remind I'm always going to be enough for myself. The one who picked on me turned into a person who gets along with me and saved my job and gave good advice, after praying for God to intervene this happened. We grew up with similar dads I found out today, which explains why we at first did not get along. God can do anything, does not mean you will be rich, does not mean your life will be always sunny, or maybe you might not get what you ask for. What if God put you in a poor place like some pastors but lived AMAZING lives with a REAL family with a good wife. Nothing only goes up, that does not come down eventually. Jesus died and went up to heaven then came back to earth.

I have to say, this is a song that helps someone in a rough world. I always said life is like a 5k, when you pass on that means you reached the finish line. Each 5k is different for everyone. I really hope a friend finds this who I know is struggling and losing or lost hope. Anyone else feel when a song comes on, you know the lyrics but can't get it out?

I left domestic violence a month ago and my sister sent me this song and it was exactly what I needed to hear!
