Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Success in conservation and management of protected areas and species relies on data. How do we collect this much needed data when conservation often has insufficient funding, limited resources, and the issues are urgent?
The community can offer a powerful tool to tackle this challenge.
Community members can actively participate in conservation research by working with scientists and experts to collect this much needed data. When community members are involved with scientific research, we call this citizen science.
This webinar will feature several panelists discussing different citizen science and "citizen sentinel" projects in NSW. It will cover the what and why of citizen science and citizen sentinels, as well as the how.
