Some of these comments are so harsh, this is excellent work. Anybody looking at this should be able to tell how much prop placement and detail work has gone into creating the atmosphere of this rail line, so don't just say the elevation changes are unrealistic and leave it at that. Also people, please be aware that it's often impossible to get realistic rail infrastructure in CS because of size limitations and how the game works. CS was never designed with good-looking rail networks in mind, so it takes a lot of effort to get anywhere close to real life. That being said, it is true that some of the elevation changes, junctions and curves are unrealistic but this is a WIP in Cities Skylines, not a railroad sim. Well done!

Technically speaking that is not his fault... it's a simulation glitch... there should be a train stop light like in real life. The game engine is old and needs re-write. Not gonna happen though

Yes. And German train destination displays showing München Hbf at the start of the video. Not very japanese. And the track gauge is wrong at start, I guess european gauge, changing later to japanese gauge. Very unrealistic.

So much nostalgia! I lived in the Tokyo area for 11 years, and I spent a lot of time on trains: Shonan-Shinjuku Line, Tokaido Line, Negishi Line, Sotetsu Line, Keikyu Line, Yamanote Line, and so much more.
