The bus route was messed up because it was in the turning lane so therefore had to turn right

@@GameNobz yes it's the TM mod, but it's not a fault of the mod. He set the lanes up and then put a bus stop in a lane that was specifically to turn right without a node in-between to allow for lane changing.

I literally wait for the episode everyday its just amazing

Hey Pravus, I recommend that you downsize some roads since you do not need that many lanes in a suburb. Oh and Pravus, you can change lane usage in TMPE ( emergency vehicles, busses, trucks etc) so you do not have to destroy your tree lined streets

TMPE is super useful, but I don't think Pravus likes doing the tedious task of setting it up for every road during videos. which is a shame because i would totally enjoy watching a 100 episode series of him do that. lol

I feel like the main issue causing backup into your city districts is that, despite the fact that you have it set up so that no one technically has to stop at an intersection on the way in, they still have to slow down at the off-ramp, and you had exactly ONE entrance for your entire city area, so when everyone is trying to use the same offramp, the speed reduction of highway speed to city speed is causing backups for those still moving at highway speed. While you technically have a second offramp, nobody can actually use it because of how the highway dead ends. And from the end, it looks like you might be starting to get a similar situation starting in old town. You have (I think) two entry points which is getting a little backed up, but it might still be manageable. While minimizing the number of full stops on routes does certainly help with congestion (are traffic accidents a thing in this game?) it seems you still need to bear in mind that even slowing down can cause traffic backup if there's enough traffic traveling through areas with shifts in speed.

"...bike lanes, which I'm obviously not doing" *immediately complains about car traffic* This video is so realistic in city design! Edit: Seriously pravus plz build some bike paths/tunnels under the highway. Maybe even just pedestrian tunnels! It will just give another method of traveling that people will take instead of a car.

4:30 Do you have a turn only lane there that's forcing the right turn for buses? If so, then the game may be deciding that there's not enough space for the bus to leave the bus stop and merge into the forward lanes.

it's probably a turn only lane just because the road itself has so many lanes, the game likes to make some turn only in that case

Hay loving the series soo far but in case you didn't notice your high density commercial , residential, and offices are still at 9% tax Also it would be neat if you do something with the fishing industry, it seems cool and I have only seen one playthough using it at all

I really enjoy these videos. And i really like the fact that you cut them in a way where you see everything interesting without seeing the tedious parts. I hate it when people just create a bus loop. I don't know if it is a specialty of the place where i live but here you can take the bus in both directions. With the loop approach people might have to sit through the whole loop if they want to reach a particular station. I like to build the bus lines in a way where they turn around on the last stop and back track their own line. I think this is much more practical.

Thought this said "Mass Transmitter" and things had gone off the rails early but I'll still watch.

The reason you are seeing such a large back up in your new high density area is because the game auto makes most intersection traffic lights so that's probably a big issue in that. But also if you made it into a round about that would help also just in general check you signaling I've had real issues in my games just because I forgot to flip on signal off. Praise Pravus

pravus, just a tip for avoiding potential future issue: you have tree anarchy installed, and it has a feature that locks forestry (the natural resource from trees) meaning it cannot be created or removed, in case you wanted to manually plant trees to create forestry. You can turn it off if you need to with the icon that has trees and a lock next to the temperature meter. Since it took me a while to figure out why I couldn't I'll just let ya know in advance.

Bus lines creation is not stupid. Its your mistake because you put a bus stop in such place that the lane the bus route is forced to take to get to the stop does not have any node between the stop and junction for the bus to switch lanes and thus bus is forced to stay on lane that is forcing it to turn right. Sadly it shows you know little about CS traffic. I recommend that you go to TM:PE options and turn on "buses may ignore lane arrows" -- this way a bus in case no node is available to switch lanes will ignore lane arrows at next junction.

4:16 The bus is being forced into the right lane for drop-offs then having to turn right because right-turn-only.

What Cities: Skylines needs: A proper healthcare and deathcare DLC.

I think building a library or two would be a credit to the city as it'd help out with the education issue you're facing. Also I'm not sure if this was intentional but the property taxes on high-density buildings and offices are still on 9% while the low-density ones are 12%.

As for traffic going into the new expansion of the city, you could try adding a few more off ramps on the main highway.

Make sure to make 2 bus lanes, one clockwise and one counterclockwise (if you're doing these bus loops). Same goes for any other mass transit option (tram, metro)

Loving the series - my only gripe is I wish you'd run water lines under the roads, lol.

The reason why trains are expensive and say no income is because as you export resources it doesn’t add the income to what the trains are exporting and also please make inland water treatment plants they are much better than sewage outlets and have the same amount of processing

I hate how the game make loop transportation that much efficient compared to regular lines. I know loops can vital to complement a network but stil...

I think you can set bus stops so that the line is straight and just delete the stop once you finish the loop.

@@Speederzzz that must be it, I got the game from epic store so think its just the base game i got. Also it's road system is also very poor because you cant change road settings without mods

I dont know how you do it, I can get a pretty sizeable amount of money but I can never have a large weekly amount of money. Despite being a Big City, my income is still only 5-8k per week.

Are you going to inject some personality into your neighborhoods so they tell a story? Like richy spread out subdivisions that look down at dystopian working class crime hellscapes?
