This work is truly sublime, I don't think there are any superlatives left that haven't already been said.. It should be featured on the games' official site to show what is possible. I have watched these videos silenced with alternative relaxing music and literally be sucked in, wondering what sims might be up to. I can imagine spending a lifetime with this game and not producing anything close to this. You are clearly a master of your craft. Thankyou for giving me something other to than watch netflix during my recuperation from a broken shoulder. Peace out

Danke und ja nach Lindblum höre ich definitiv nicht auf. Eigentlich hatte ich nicht gedacht und geplant so lange an diesen savegame zu arbeiten. Letzten Sommer sollte diese Stadt eigentlich fertig sein und da wollte ich schon etwas anderes starten was mir schon seid längeren durch den Kopf geistert. Aber da die Stadt so gut ankam und ich von vielen so gepusht wurde, habe ich es mit dieser Stadt ein wenig übertrieben. Was aber insgesamt schwer war, da ich laufend Ideen für eine andere Stadt bekomme und die Lust immer mehr und mehr steigt etwas neues anzufangen. Ob die neue besser oder schlechter wird weiß ich nicht, für mich wird sie definitiv besser, da die neue mit den bisherigen Möglichkeiten von Anfang an gebaut wird aber ob diese genau so gut ankommt wird vllt Geschmacksachse sein. Eins werde ich versprechen, das Layout soll auch im neuen Projekt möglichst organisch bleiben auch wenn es sich vllt nicht um eine EU Stadt handeln wird. Ach ich quatsch wieder zu viel... sry^^ .

Hi and thanks for you nice words, appriciate this and love to read it^^ . Ye the series is promised and planned for march and will start with a timelapse map creation. The population of Lindblum is atm ~110k and the plan is 120-130k, i think thats enough and give much options to play this savegame after upload. How many hours is hard to say... maybe 2500 hours. After this mounths the city is one year old(start the build in march 2016) and this is a good time to release Lindblum. The FPS is good i think, without graphic mods i get 20-60FPS(vsync) with a gtx970. 20FPS in the center and some other detailed places and the average on the complete city is round about 30-40(max graphic settings).

Dude, chill, he hasn't even started the series. Let the guy do his thing, and then give an opinion for him to improve on. I strongly dislike all the people in the comments section always telling CSL youtubers what to build and how to build it. If you know it so well, build it yourself, end of the story. Being forced to make stuff by the viewers doesn't get you great content.

@Dawid Dubanosow Thanks for the early feedback for ideas of a series from me. I don't like time laps only too. I think it is much boring when people place 10 or 20 minutes trees or props and thats all. But my english is not the best but i will try my best^^ . I will try to make a combination of both, talk about a thing and make some things faster like a timelapse. Also i will try to record only the interesting parts and maybe some scenes from borings things like place props. I don't see or found the theme but i know there are some better themes in the workshop, but a change of a theme is a hard work, the color of textures can change all and i think for me its to late to change the theme. For my next city i found an interesting theme with better textures. @Johnny Bravo Thanks too for your advocating me or my video style or anything else. I understand both minds but pls at all be gently in ur discussions, cities is not a war game^^ . Small interesting information: Tomorrow comes a new ws item and a surprise video. In march i will show you first a small teaser of my new map creation series(i think it can take one or two months to create the map) and i have a nice idea to give you the map as a map with great vegetations and also i think about a much more detailed version as an savegame with props decal lines and more(maybe i find a way to add this details in the editor, i will create only one version). Ah in combination with the map i plan a new airport project. This will be more a regional but not simple with one runway, i found an interesting real one. Hope you will like the upcoming stuff.

@@Dexteryify One more question about performance, I still have as good fps on a 30K city, but the simulation has become slow. 2x or 3x are no longer faster and 1x's speed is slowly decreasing. So, does it happen to you? Do you just let run the thing for hours? And just put this kind of videos in fast forward? =D

Ah ye my favorite game too, the setting of FFIX was so unique and all cities so cool and Lindblum was my favorite place in the game^^ . I tried to get the shape of Lindblum in cities. Ah and thanks for calling this art.

Wow really love this one... soo much to take in.. Can I live in your city?! ha ha Your privet harbors look so cool with the sailboats and break water. I also love how you mend different European building with modern... quite realistic here like how German town have an altstadt and them a modern financial center. I really like the flow of the districts... how they are not grids and have all sorts of different buildings. I think your layout of public transport is realistic and neat. How the tram lines are not always on a road but take more direct and less congested approaches around your city. Your sunken tram station is really cool... with the pedestrian paths crossing over it ( I don't know how you got the quay so close to it) they are such a pain to layout... I assume you used "move it" frequently here. Lastly THERE IS NO MONOTONY in your cityscape... your very creative... I am really looking forward to more videos since Freshpocorn and Stictoaster have not uploaded city skylines work in a month! I also love your spiral wood boardwalk to your park summit and your spiral roundabout foliage... keep up the good work and please post teasers on twitter of your work-in-progress map! I also like your new avatar and u-tube page format. :)

Wow thanks, another cool comment from you, i appreciate this so much.. thank you ... thanks^^ . The switch with modern and traditional buildings and the "small" skyline was inspired by many german cities like Frankfurt(Financial District), Karlsruhe(Circle and Garden), Stuttgart(Weißgarten) and Frankfurt again(for the airport). Im not a fan of 90 degree grid^^ and love the flow of EU City grids but my next city could be a theme of a north american or australian city. But i promise: im not interested to build those cities with a 90 degree grid. I find many realistic reasons to build those cities with a touch of an european free flow grid. Ye the transportation system is inspired by real ones. Lindblum has no circle lines or anything else, every transport line have a start and a end in different districts and between there are important stops and connections with other lines. But the system will not work perfectly after upload(subscribe), i use for optimizations the Improved Public Transport Mod(number of Trains for lines) and this settings are saved in a separate file and cant be uploaded with the savegame(thats one of the reasons why i don't use traffic manager, for this it is the same, settings are separate saved). The center was hard to create but without move it. I build the main part of the center summer 2016 and the move it mod comes much later. Now its easy to build so close and tight, move it makes everything much easier. Ah and thanks that you like my avatar and yt-page... was hard for me to find an interesting style, logo and a unique name variation so that people can find me here and not tons of dexter morgan vids or dexters lab(but both are so cool)^^ .

thanks for the kind reply... I think its neat how you loosely base areas off of different cities (I think we all do that unknowingly) this is why I think Freshpocorn's Niagara Falls project is so intriguing, but like I said before I have not seen any uploads from him. Now that i think about it the "move it" mod was not around then like you said... so now I REALLY respect the additional effort into this. I think the idea of an American city sounds amazing... It would be neat to see how a European builds an American city ;) I trust you will have a unique layout like you said... unfortunately sooo many American city centers are cookie cutter grids though, I'm sure you'll pull off your creative touch nevertheless. I also cannot believe that you save game LASTED for a year without corrupting... I had several save-games of which I was very fond of corrupt from snowfall, match day, and other updates ( and that's with a very light mod load since I knew less about the steam workshop them) Have you heard of silvarret, he makes neat videos such as his netherlands city and recent Amar dubia city...his last episode he gave a little lecture on public transport patterns during a time lapse which reminded me of your ideas. I have been eyeing your Lindblum build since I saw your steam artwork of the buffalo grill restaurant by the lake side with all the nice foliage :) anyway there's a lot of talented people out there ( you being one of them) hope to see more content soon...keep up the good work! ;) also good fps during the video... that must have been difficult to record

Danke nochmals. Musste gerade etwas überlegen was du mit Assets meintest. Da mir der Name nicht in Verbindung eines Workshops einfiel. Aber eben gerade nochmal meine Kollektionen nach geschaut und da fiel es mir dann wieder ein. Ich hatte ja erst letztens ein Haufen cooler Props zu meinen Kollektionen hinzugefügt. Gerade das Light Artwork ist der Hammer. Leider kam noch nichts davon in Lindblum zum Einsatz. Ich habe mein Limit schon seit geraumer Zeit weit überschritten und bin derzeit bei über 550 Assets(geplant waren 400). Nicht weil mein PC nicht mehr schafft, ich wollte die Stadt von Anfang an für die Community bauen und damit so viel wie möglich Zugang zu dieser haben, hatte ich mir ein Limit von Assets gesetzt. Deine Workshop Assets sind aber schon in meinen Kollektionen und werden zu 100% in meiner nächsten Statt eingesetzt. Okay damit deine Sachen bei mir nicht zu lange verstauben versuche ich mir noch was für Lindblum zu überlegen, gerade das Light Artwork hats mir angetan, das ist echt super.

Alles gut, lass dir von mir nur nicht reinreden! Die Qualität der Stadt steht schließlich im Vordergrund. Aber sehr lobenswert, dass du a) die Stadt für die Community baust und b) trotzdem versuchst, etwas von mir einzubauen! Macht mir natürlich auch direkt Lust, an etwas neuem zu Arbeiten. Wie gesagt, ich bin wirklich gespannt auf deine nächsten Videos, Bilder und Projekte! Und dankeschön für das Kompliment. :)

Wäre interessiert an exklusive Infos, solltest du was neues zaubern^^ . Auf jeden fall wollte ich nur mit Freude mitteilen, das ich ein paar von deinen Sachen in meinen letzten Stadtteil unterbringen konnte und ehrlich gesagt man ohne diese Sachen wäre der nur halb so interessant. Hab nen paar coole Ideen umgesetzt und bin schon gespannt wie es ankommt.

Ye Lindblum and all the cinematic videos eats much of me time^^ . I plan some intersections to release in march but i cant promise that. My next projects in march are a map and another airport project(regional airport).

This is a very beautiful city.

This was absolutely superb. Almost climaxing :D The detail, the realism . Its just wow. But there was one thing i didnt exactly like. The train station area, with the static trains standing. I felt like its missing more detail. But otherwise its all fantastic!!!!!

truly incredible city u have built, u have serious talent and I truly love ur roundabouts, but what i was really impressed about was the big mall area with passages connecting the giant buildings together. :) Oh and I also really love ur skyline, its a very original and realistic skyline :)

Ye the pedestrian path bridges was a funny idea, needed to connect the expo building like a real one. Ah cool you love my skyline, thanks^^. Shes not random i planned this skyline look. Was hard work with landscaping to set the buildings in the right high^^ .

Ja auf das uploaden von der gesamten Stadt freue ich mich auch. Gerade was dann alle davon halten, da ich in Fotos und Videos ja alles von einer Schokoladenseite zeigen kann, ist es dann schon interessant wenn Leute einen genaueren Blick drauf werfen können.

So funny. I just downloaded this city to see what would happen when I opened it. A lot of assets were missing since I didn't even look to see what I might need. I figured it would be an urban renewal project. Now, that is what I am working on! It's great. I'm reclaiming some of the outer suburbs for more wild land, and will make them Nature Preserves. I'll probably need to compact the city a bit, but I am maintaining a lot of open space as well in the city centres. The layout is pretty cool. It's not very gridded, and I'm finding ways to make plazas and roundabouts in some spots to keep the flow going. Thanks. Great city for me to catch after some mysterious natural disaster hit it and removed whole buildings without rubble!

sorry that im saying that, but this is true: This is really really the beautifules and realistic TOWN and CITY that i've seen ever on Skylines! You are a god. u created a city thats impulsive and more beauty than each over on youtube! You have build a so detailed city.,...im ********** ( shocked ) give us more like that! ITS REALLY THE BEST.
