CIRRUS SR22T - BEACH FLIGHTS - Multi Cameras

They say that the the Cirrus is the Smartest, Safest, Most Innovative general aviation aircraft a pilot could desire....Well I could agree with that statement, seeing I own one AND it flies sooo well off the beach. With temps at a high today and in full Aussie summer heat, I flew this model attaching several cameras to capture all the 'salt air' excitement before the day became too warm to melt foam!

Amazing camera angles!! I really enjoy my cirrus. I did have to swop out the rudder servo and replaced it with a metal gear servo after some not so great landings. Really enjoy this content. Please keep them coming.😀

A stunning plane. My favorite to fly on Real Flight Evo simulator. Just has and does everything. So fun to fly, can’t wait to get the real one! Great size too.

Just checking out your channel . Great job 👍🏼 Love the Cirrus , Awesome flight and views .They look incredible and fly so well . I have the UMX Cirrus as well , very hard to get . hope they re update and re-release that . I had/have the original blue 1.5M , excellent flyer . But unfortunately it had a bad receiver. Which they discontinued not long after production ...??? Lost signal while circuit flying on flight 4-5 and crashed . Got it fixed up OK . Tested tested and tested the thing again and again with a 1000 ft range check ...all good . Put it up in the air and 30 seconds later , signal loss and powered nose dive . It needs a whole new fuse , motor , RECEIVER ect ect . Not worth fixing now so it my first official parts plane . lol . Cheers ✈🇨🇦

Amazing!!! I had the very same thing with 3rd flight of the 2m Cessna Z a while back. HH sent me a new fuse plus receiver & ESC from the States. I dud a video in Tasmania ( my birth place) on how to pack an aircraft for a holiday ( Aeroscout) HH were so impressed the sent me a Slow Ultra Stick to make a similar video, which i did when we went to the Good Coast… now there is a fantastic ‘ bare bones ‘ model. In the middle of the morning here ( 1am) & awake with a huge tropical thunderstorm. Many thanks for checking the video/ s out. Love the Cirrus

Hi Aussie !!! Thank you very much John for this superb video of the magnificent SR22T flying over the Australian coast. Aren't you afraid of wet sand/salt landings that could damage the hardware (screws, servo rods etc.)?

G’day JPh, She is s beauty indeed. The aircraft does get sprayed with Silicon & seems to prevent rust although i have had some rusting on other aircraft. I have even had a jet ho into the waves & under. Washed it thru with fresh water & up the next day flying it. The Battery area was dry . Thanks for watching mate!!🇦🇺🦘

Nice flying!! I like the Cirrus but in a toss up I went with the E-flite Commander. Tried to fly it off grass yesterday and even low cut cooch grass it wanted to nose over. So I'm doing a 40mm wheel mod to solve that problem. Looks like you have a great spot for flying I'm guessing down the penninsula. You've got to watch out for those seaweed hazards on landing...😵‍💫😵‍💫

Hi Lance, I am near Torquay on the coast. It is an excellent plane. I do have a similar one to you in the RV-7 so spats on wheels are no problem on the beach. The seaweed will be gone in a few days & it will be a clean beach again. My Valiant aircraft mod with larger dubro wheels fixed the grass ops for me, so you should be fine . Thanks for watching.
