FMS CESSNA SKYLANE 182 - NEW AIRCRAFT-MAIDEN-ACCIDENT+3 On Board Cameras

Great new flying model. Using 3 on board cameras to capture the first few flights at a sports ground with a very challenging surface. Declaired a 'PAN-PAN-PAN' on landing....watch to find out more!

Hi Randy, thankfully it is a great floater. Should have landed further along as i did on the maiden.

Nice save my friend I wasn't sure how that landing was going to be. But you didn't panic and remained calm at the most important time. I only have a few airplane's that have a nose gear and I have had problems with them, almost all of my airplane's are tail draggers. So glad you got it down in great shape looking forward to the beach flights. Have a wonderful day my friend. PEACE ✌️ ☮️

G’dat there Shannon, yes the very rough tractor ruts in the soft dirt certainly made for a bad landing. I just did not see it. Next time i will check out the surrounding landing area. Should be no problems at the beach eh? Thanks indeed mate.🇦🇺🪃🦘

Great flights Noel, bad luck landing in those tyre divots, she flys very well and the nose gear should be an easy fix, looking forward to the beach ops...jeff.

Yes, thanks Jeff. It is a lovely gentle flyer & very easy to manage even in the wind that was up high. Might get to the beach tomorrow before the weather closes in. Love to take it to the Gold Coast in Monday but a but big for the case😜

Good emergency landing! It's a great looking model, love the details! Hope your flying field gets better, it was more suitable for a bush plane now. Good thing your beaches have that compact sand, here the Black sea beaches are either fine loose sand or seashells everywhere. Not that I am anywhere near, I took a couple planes with me the past 2 years in our beach trips but it was always too windy.

Oh yes, the beach for me I think. No damage just ‘popped the wheel link into the servo. It would be a great model for your road.

@@Bellairvideo 1.2 is about max wingspan I can fit in my car assembled that's why I avoid larger models. Also so I can take more with me, I like to fly at least 2 or 3 in a flying session.

Well you would have no problem with the 1.5m as the wings simply detach with the press of buttons.

@@Bellairvideo I will probably get a civilian tricycle gear plane at some point, there's many I like, the RV7, Cherokee, this one is also really nice. Tough to choose with limited storage space, I keep hoping for UMX versions 😄

G’day Harry, i used to have a couple of helis but the cost of continuous replacement parts vs the release of DJI & their range of drones plus the ease of flying them especially for my filming work ( vs hire of real helis) made mecwsnt to go with their on board cameras starting from the original Phantom 1. If you look back you can see my flights in remote areas of Australia using them for aerial filming with large mining companies. Now retired, i still have the Mini 3 with oleo fpv goggles. I did fly the Cessna 182 yesterday with new camera angles & will post this week Many thanks for watching & subscribing
