I know, I thought the same thing. But this was just uploaded on this channel in 2017. If we look up the 2010 version it would have to be in the millions.
Such a shame they never blew up. This band deserves to be put on a pedestal

Seeing him on the Amulet tour when he was sober and himself again, going completely nuts on stage was an out of body situation. Especially to hear him belt out vocals like a dying man. I could have met them and heard an acoustic set, but we didn't anticipate traffic in the next state to keep us held up.

Love this frickin song
I had a horrible experience with marijuana and it traumatized me to substances , and made me wary of a lot of things to the point I could barely function in school and life. During the experience my friends and I really liked circa survive so I associated the experience with circa survive and couldn't listen to them without growing scared. But now a decade later, I think I've healed a lot, I still associate it, but I can appreciate the sound again.
Fuck that! We were immortal when this track first hit the waves. This song...I would jump into the mosh pit, get knocked down and as I stood, realized I was all alone in my bedroom. Heavily in my feelings.
I can hear Cedric's voice and Omar R. guitars, beautiful piece.

That my friend, is called aging, tastes change with time. Some things you loved as a kid you hate as an adult and vice versa. I've gone through so many genres, but eventually I ended up listening to them all. I used to listen to breakdown of sanity on repeat, but now I find myself hitting skip every other time they pop up just because I lean a bit more towards post-hardcore nowadays. Still love them though, along with white chapel and all the other great dc bands out there.
@danielnelson4881
3 жыл бұрын
@@llGreyll. Good music is good music, tastes change.. And when they do you'll inevitably fall on the "good bands" people that liked that particular kind of music were listening to when you weren't ready for that kind of music. All it took for me back when this album came out, was to sit down with someone who loved and was passionate about this band.. And to listen. Give it a shot, try to understand it. My buddy would point out things he liked about it, things like that... Pretty soon I was finding things that I liked about it on my own. Next thing you know I'm shutting off the Born of Osiris to listen to this song in the car (or really anything from Blue Sky Noise, love this album).. Something that was unfathomable to me a month before. I can't say that I became a big Circa Survive fan after that... Don't know if I've heard a song that wasn't on BSN.. But I can tell you I've heard every song on BSN a hundred plus times a piece to make up for it haha. I completely agree with you man. Well... Except the part about songs you like as a kid you hate as an adult... I've yet to come across songs I used to love that I don't still love in some way.. When I was 9-14 or 15 I was REALLY into AFI's Black Sails in the Sunset, Art of Drowning, then Sing the Sorrow (I liked all of them but particularly those ones as Art of Drowning was their most recent release when I first became a HUGE fan, and then Sing the Sorrow came out so i was big time hype). I don't ever go out of my way to listen to it much... But when I do hear it I still love the shit out of it. Has a special nostalgia to it as well... of course. I feel kinda bad for you if you really did mean you hate all the songs you used to love! (Also, one more thing... Whitechapel (-.-) !,,! - This is Exile was basically my Bible for a looong time. My love for that album was the closest thing I've ever had to a religious experience and Philly Bo was my gutteral God. Then the album "Reclaimer" By Shadow of Intent came out many years later.. The next and only other time I've had that kind of religious experience hahaha.. Shit I lied... The Discovery by Born of Osiris... That's all though... I swear... I think)
Still hit's home
I read the title wrong and thought this was a new Circa Waves song lmfao that would’ve been a hell of a sound change

Anthony was in Saosin. He's the singer on the stuff they did before their first LP, and came back for In Search of Solid Ground. I recommend that album, and the self-titled with Cove on vocals. The Sounds of Animals Fighting is an experimental supergroup with Anthony that, at its best, sounds akin to Circa Survive on coke. Finally, I might recommend a band called Isles & Glaciers. They have a different sound, but it's about the only non-Anthony Green project I link with Circa Survive (since I listened to them at the same time). Hope you like them.
