Who is editing these videos for ESPN? You showed Mike Varga's 3rd run at 35:11, and then after the commercial several minutes later at 39:40 you end up showing the same footage again of Mike Varga taking his 3rd run. Please do a better job with paying attention to the editing. Another one of your videos (Skateboard Vert Finals) cuts off way before the competition even ends and you still haven't fixed and re-uploaded the video. That's an unacceptable level of quality control for an outfit like ESPN.

If he only squeezed in some barspin to 720 or cash roll, that would be gold. Double back flip 360 was sick. We saw RWilly attempting this trick on the last jump as well last year. It's so sick. I would love to see double b 720 on dirt best trick this year!

R Willy could have just thrown a truck and still would get scored higher because of who he is. The judging has always been somewhat rigged

pretty cool seeing some of the tricks that R Willey does on a scooter being brought over to BMX such as that Nothing Front Flip

How about the guys all wearing energy drink apparel😂 I think it’s weird to be so offended by this. Every sport has sponsors that make products that are unhealthy for humans. It’s humans choice to consume products, inform themselves and read the label on the back of the box if they are worried about their health. I’m stoked that the event got a sponsor and the riders all made money. I thought the CTC guy was kinda funny😂

Agreed, X-Games just isn't the premier event for action sports anymore there's far better international contests, since the Olympics are involved more athletes focus on training for that.

I think the judging was terrible! Mike Vargas final run was definitely not good enough for second place! Ryan Williams second run was way bigger and he only jumped into 4th! It makes no sense

You know X-Games has fallen off when they are literally selling the event names to corporations for the highest bid, eg "Cinnamon Toast Crunch BMX Dirt", "Monster Energy Moto X Best Trick", and "Samsung Galaxy Moto X QP High Air".... LOL so embarrassing.

Best competition in the x games left right now. Judged perfectly too. The ones who won were the ones who added the next level of variations, especially on jumps 2 and 3.

​@40krocks21 I'm saying everyone uses the double or cash roll in their run. Does anyone remember nitro games, they let everyone know which tricks would score highest. It's like a meta load out, everyone uses it. I want to see 360 windshield wiper. Sandoval should have made the cut.

Am I the only one who thinks these dirt comps are becoming too boring? I mean, the tricks are totally insane, but it's like everybody is doing the same run. Gigantic tricks and no style at all. I really think they should try something different, like a more trails-like event, so that riders can be more creative. And not just adding 2 more jumps in a straight line though, but a full course, with a bit smaller jumps. Could be a U-shaped course or something. A good example was the one at Pat's house, it was great. This 3 to 4 gigantic jumps course is not really fun to watch anymore. If this is gonna keep going like this, espn should stop with the dirt and bring back vert (that should NEVER have stopped in the first place).

This type of bmx riding really isn’t even enjoyable to watch everyone is doing the same tricks, bring back 90s combos. We get it you can do 18 tailwhips 45 backflips and all the spins. Now let’s see an original combo that we haven’t seen in the 15-20 years

@@s3uoq while the double front flip caught me off guard and was sick to see they other 3 jumps were front flip combos after that, if you can double front flip seeing a front flip no hander then a front flip barspin doesn’t really suprise me, add variety do a double front flip them no more flips after that. The winning run had how many tailwhips in it, same thing you can backflip triple whip there’s no need to 360 triple whip we get it you can do all the tailwhips now do something different. How does one judge one double backflip to the next one how is one double tailwhip spin combo different than another. I’ve never seen A triple turndown air does that mean it’s harder? No do something different we seen 8 runs of the same tricks in a different order
