I have a feeling this new Silk show will stand seperate from the MCU (the guys who made Into The Spiderverse are also involved) so I doubt they would cast the same actress as Silk. I don't even know if they'll get Tom Holland to appear in it.

Wow, this has to be the fastest ever adaptation of a new comic book character to a movie. Cindy Moon first comic appearance was 2014, and her first film appearance was 2017. I've never seen a character jump that fast from its inception to the big screen, that's got to be a new record.

I really enjoyed Silk's storyline in her comics (except for some obvious traits that were thankfully cut later on) and I'm glad she's slowly being introduced into MCU. Obviously there's a big difference between MCU Peter and comic Peter, so I'm sure they'll make some changes to her character to accommodate the canon universe(s). Hopefully not a lot of changes though, I found satisfaction in her character development throughout the comics.

@@YaBoiDoi Oh my God- I hated that arc so much. I open the Silk comics, and Peter meets this quarantined woman and is suddenly on the ceiling with her?? I found the idea so stupid as well. In some games/books, the spider that bit Parker wasn't killed, and it bit Miles before kicking the bucket. It had the same logic of falling on love with someone just because you both got bit by your pet dog.

@@_Blank.- It's smart to look on the logical side. The comics mentioned it being the same spider idea, so that's why I had assumed. I think most of us can agree it was a weird idea either way.

I would really like to see Cindy in the insomniac spiderverse as another playable character, I don't love her character in the comics but I disliked Miles in the ultimate comics and loved him in the insomniac games so I know they could make her great. I like that her powers were derived from the same spider that bit peter so that could make for an interesting story

Apparently the pheromones part is gonna get reckoned and the writer of Cindy admitted it was a mistake to make Spider-Man and her relationship so sextual so they will probably not include that in her character so no need to worry

The way they were written and the way Silk was introduced just made her character seem like she existed purely for sex appeal. No real depth, just Peter and Cindy meeting and within 10 minutes they’re all over each other. I’m glad they didn’t make it a major part in Silks solo series, because I absolutely hated how big a part of her character the “spider pheromones” were. It was just gross

Marvel team always give me goosebumps how they introduced every underated over powered character,, so excited seeing her on her upcoming comeback.

If they go with her OG origin than by this point she already has her powers! Crazy

MCU changed Peter as a character... It's not that hard to believe that they'll change Silk's origin... Maybe when people snapped away for 5 years she was bitten and is 5 years older than Peter... I guess the impulsive need to be with each other because they where bitten by the same spider can't be really explored unless the MCU gonna okay a 16 year old boy and a 21 year old woman.

Let's be honest here, Sony and Marvel Studios just grabbed random names from the comics for Peter's classmates. Cindy Moon, Abe Brown (the kid next to Cindy everything mistakenly thought of him as Miles Morales), the Betty Brand that looks more like Gwen Stacy, Ganke Lee but named Ned Leeds, and the mix of characters for Michelle Jones. Plus Sony now is making a series about Silk to be set in their own shared universe.

Let's face it, Marvel Studios and Sony just used random names for Peter's classmates in Homecoming. Cindy, a Betty Brand that physically looks like Gwen Stacy, Ganke Lee but named Ned Leeds, Prowler's brother Abe Brown, the Black Tiger as a teen, and few others that had big or none importance in the comics.
