I've been saying this for the longest time especially with all of the technology we have nowadays if George Clinton can get some sponsorship money and create a new landing of the mothership show and promote it it would be hard to get a ticket

They great! Gave me some vibes similar to the heydays. But they need some horns to really give up the funk....

IMO, they out (p-funked) the "p More energy 🎉than that karaoke 🎤 band that tours with George. Even being a cover band , even with the terrible audio, I could feel that s@$#t. These guys and gals are clearly respectful to the legacy. I hope they continue. Heard Bootsy was at the show .......would have been nice to see him in his hometown, sharing the stage a little light with this group. Maybe we will see them soon at one of the funkateers' balls in DC

Having first seen the Funkadelics in 1973 and up till last year. This here is a cover band (I ain't hatin, but I hate cover bands) this comes off like a P- Funk revue who would do a month residency in Vegas

3 of them had been in and out with george since 1978 Guitar player is Garys brother. front lady is a bride 1980. wrote most of the sweatband, trombipulation and Computer Games. they are def. pfunk alumni

​@@drgroove I hear ya, but they can have 10 ex- P FUNK up there performing and I would still feel the same way, as I said they do the 'melody of hits' thing which has that 'tribute band' vibe to it. Having seen George's bands over the years with all the improvisation and spontaneous"jamming"(as in "jam band") I ain't feeling the cover band thang.😉

@@Duane-tl2zc We makin' this up on the spot cuz. All we got is an arrangement of the show. In between, we makin' it up as we flow and break off what we can shake off. That's why we sound closer to 1970's PFunk.

WHOEVER IS RECORDING THE SOUND STOP!!! THE PLAYBACK IS HORRIBLE ! IT SOUNDS RUMBLED AND I BELIEVE THE MIC IS TOO CLOSE TO THE WOOFERS. I HAVE A POLK AUDIO SYSTEM.
