Any episode with Matty's acid eyes is a winner in my book, and so far I think that's been all of them.

Lifelong Cincinnatian here. At the beginning I was horrified, but as the video progressed I was amazed. Would love to try this recipe compared to the standard mix we have here. My favorite go to's are 3-ways and chili cheese fries. Always funny to ask someone from out of town if they want to go out for a 3-way

Born and raised in Cincinnati. When your a kid and get off the bus to walk home in the freezing rain and you open the door to your mom's house and she is cooking this chili and the whole house smells like it; its a beautiful moment and made for great memories. Go Bucks!!!

For non-Cincinnati folks, the way we eat Cincy chili is by taking your fork and basically "scoop cutting" it, rather than twirling around your folk like normal pasta. This way, you keep all the cheese on top of your bite, whereas if you twirl the cheese falls off. Cincinnati wisdom coming straight at ya! Can't wait for Season 3 Matty and team!

Matty and Michelle's friendship is hilarious to me because an extrovert and an introvert being best friends will never not be iconic and relatable

Oh my god. I haven't watched Matty in a while and one thing that struck me was the production quality. Wow they either pump a lot more money into the show now, or got a super talented editor.

Okey so the video editor is a GOD, the crew is made up of legends, Michelle does 90% of the food and Matty is there to complain and scream and sometimes to stir the pot. Best cooking show ever doe. I'd pay to work there.

Hats off the the editing and animation crew on this one. Also wtf. I didn’t even learn how to cook. Most of what I took away was I can’t look at ground beef normally again

When Matty hit the climax of his Cincinnatti-Chili-induced acid trip and screamed out "YEAAHHHHHH!!!!!" as his eyeballs quadrupled in size, I immediately knew I needed to make this dish. What a legend.

They'll just drop a spoonfull of bland-ass kidney beans on top of your chili. I'd bet beans are by far the least common way to have a 4-way

The energy of this vs home style cookery is like a fucking fever dream, and I love it!

This is basically just Tim and Eric awesome show with a huge guy cooking

This is so much better than TV. I don't know what I watched but it was magical Sludge. The editors on this video were on an epic level. I think my mind exploded onto a sludge level.

This series is going to end with Michelle wearing Matty's skin as a dress.

This is the best televised 20 minutes of food CONTENT ever made, past preset or future

The way this show is going it's gonna take like three or four more episodes until Matty is doing jumping jacks in the nude and a live rendition of the Rocky Horror Picture Show where every Character is played by Jeff Goldblum. Hey Matty, native Cincinnatian here. Your recipe is really close to what we eat. We tend to use less traditional chili spices. It's Greek in origin, not Tex-Mex. And there's sometimes nutmeg. Most people don't put actual chocolate in the chili, they'll use cocoa powder. You got the cinnamon! Yay! The amount of cheese you used is 100% accurate. And you like our chili! So many people claim to hate it. It's very popular to hate on my city. Just for liking it, you're my dude!
