When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

I’m old but feel 23. Being old is great, apart from the realisation you are nearer the big sleep. It challenges you to enjoy yourselves in the time you have left. Being old is great, you get up when you want, do what you want, to whom you want, when you want, go where you want and my own favourite, say what you feckin well want. You can’t be sacked. Eventually your time will run out and you will ascend to the skies and there shine with the stars for ever and ever.🇬🇧🇬🇧

I thought the music was fine. The poem of course is genius and was brilliantly recited. I am 67. I cannot say that anyone loved my pilgrim soul, exactly. But I do not complain because my couch potatoe soul was loved by a few extraordinary people and I am grateful for that, among other things including pizza.
Oh my God...being 79 now, this strikes home...oh Lordie Lordie...soon....soon...

Hear me once. I can get all the sleep I need when I am dead and buried. I loved my Love and loved the little ones too. Sometimes my Fangs came out but for the Trespassers who came from the Dark and only I returned to my Love from. Bent and Bruised but never Broken for there lies my passion for whom I at service to. My Mother My Sister and my Wife. They will live forever more.
You get more sad and depressed and trying to find the last hope to keep on going for something
