You are way more inventive than I am...

I'm a newbie. I keep seeing that the bridge/strings need to be grounded. Your's don't appear to be and, I'm no electrician, but since electric isn't running through the strings I'm not sure what is getting grounded. Maybe for static buildup?

Howdy! Piezoelectric disk pickups don’t need to be grounded- but All steel strings with magnetic pickups do! It’s a mega source of frustration if done wrong- all kinds of ways to do it! Check out Del Pucketts channel “grounding pickups” for great 👍🏻 intel! thanks for the comment!!
