A lot of bad calls and most calls favoring Servite... Were the referees incompetent ... No .. they knew what they were doing... Just enough for Servite to win. Despite this Poly had a really nice season and have a lot of very talented underclassmen returning next season. The football program at Long Beach Poly continues to build and get better each year ... They are on the right track. Great video by 562 Sports.

Servite contained Poly's run game. Poly threw 2 interceptions (one caught by lineman). Had a qb sack fumble and missed a winning field goal. Then had a bad snap to tie the game and go for 2. They had their chances to win. Too many turnovers that usually don't happen if the run game is going.

@@warnpeace1992 Poly played this game without their top running back also linebacker and two starting wide receivers among a few others that were out injured and despite that they still almost beat a very good Servite team and some questionable refs in the playoffs so I think they did pretty good. The hospitality and the food trucks that Servite had at the game was very nice but they're not going to find that when they get to Serra ... It is a disaster area at Serra.

Trinity league refs going to do trinity league things. Hard to imagine servite being proud of a win when they eke out in over time after 3 called back touchdowns and 7 poly turnovers with 30min of possession in a 48 min game for servite. Ref call won it for servite, and they were scarily outmatched, despite the poor poly offense.

Hard to win when you're one dementional. When i played for Poly back in 93-95 our coach always played balance attack.

Im not a poly fan but that incomplete fumble call was such bs. Dude got like 2 steps in before fumbling.

10:09, Servite QB Clearly fumbles after Poly defender lays wood. Hit CLEARLY jars the ball loose, and Poly recovers. How did the ref miss that? How did you guys miss that?

And it’s sad because 2 teams that poly beat already will still fight for a d2 championship

What’s most funny about this is, there is no doubt in my mind that Servite INTENTIONALLY lost as big as they did to JSerra so that they could be moved down to the Division 2 bracket. If they play a somewhat competitive game against JSerra, there is no way they get moved down. I would not put it past them to have even colluded with JSerra to run the points up on them to make it easier for CIF to place them in the Div 2 bracket this way as well. It’s all about the additional gate revenue from the ticket sales and the Trinity league fans travel well so it was also in the best interest of the CIF financial wise to have done so too.
