At the time we all thought Ciara was 8-for-8 with five homers, a double and two singles (if you count that last at-bat as a hit), because somehow we all forgot about her first at-bat where she just missed a homer and Papa Cap caught it at the fence. We thought she was the only person with eight hits in the game and who didn't get out at all. Most homers doesn't automatically = MVP. Soup almost certainly deserved to win MVP more than anyone, but the crazy performance by a girl made it more special and I just wanted like a consolation prize for Team Bobby basically in such an insane game. Also keep in mind that it's really just an exhibition game and it shouldn't matter much who wins MVP.
