Why are they out here lying that black women can't be beautiful when I'm in awe at this woman. This got underappreciated growing up because this was right after people made crazy rumors about her biological gender and nonsense, like idk if they're true. Black women will never be seen as beautiful or as feminine as straight cis white women according to White Supremacist ideas of "beauty"-- which are based on Western, anglo norms, and all of that is condensed down into the dehumanization we see of black women where White conservatives, White Feminists/White Liberals/White Moderates (ie white people who claim to be "allies" and will turn around and do or say something shitty and dehumanizing to marginalized folx because the white ally believes that their performative allyship absolves them when their behavior falls more in line with the White Supremacist standard), black men (and even some black women) who repeat those White Supremacist talking points in the vein hope that they will be spared from the purging that conservatives are attempting, and pulling off in some states, because they really believe conservatives will actually care that they were "one of the good ones" upholding and reinforcing White Supremacy, will put down and dehumanize black women's physical appearance, their femininity, their intelligence, and make comments about them being "mannish", "too aggressive and confrontational", and so on. It literally all goes back to slavery. I recommend channels such as ForHarriet, Tee Noir, Khadija Mbowe, Shanspeare, for better more concise explanations of what you're talking about, as well as any books by bell hooks, Angela Y. Davis, Audre Lord, Beverly Guy-Sheftall, and Alice Walker, as they are all black women writers and activists who have gone deep into these conversations.

The most impressive thing about Ciara's dancing is that she could always hang with her male dancers. She could switch it up from the splits to twerking, any move her dudes could do she could do and, she had that same kind of swagger! Most women do more 'feminine' dancing you know what I mean but Ciara could easily do both. Just effortless.

I love Chamillionaire’s bars! I love how he decided to use the same flow Ciara did at the beginning of the song at the end of his verse and then referenced her first hit. I just can’t get enough of this song. The dancing, her beautiful voice, Chamillionaire’s verse, everything! I’m just obsessed, and I do not know why I have never seen this video before. +Celes Classo yup right during the middle of the evolution, her old team was stealing money from her and alorlt of internal issuses. Ciara decided to let them go, and pissed them off so they worked on sabotaging her 3rd era, which they did by leaking those tracks etc... she has been through a lot.
