CIA Whistleblower John Kiriakou: Giuliani Aide Told Me Presidential Pardon Would Cost Me $2 Million

Calls are growing for the Justice Department to investigate Donald Trump’s attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for allegedly plotting to sell presidential pardons during the Trump administration, after his former employee Noelle Dunphy filed a $10 million lawsuit against Giuliani accusing him of sexual assault and other misconduct. The complaint alleges Giuliani “asked Ms. Dunphy if she knew anyone in need of a pardon, telling her that he was selling pardons for $2 million, which he and President Trump would split.” Dunphy is not the first person to publicly reveal this scheme; CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou has previously divulged that he was among those asked to pay up in return for a clean slate. “This lawsuit is the first that I heard that money was supposed to be split with President Trump,” he tells Democracy Now! Kiriakou, who did not ultimately get a pardon, says he was told by a Giuliani aide not to bother with a formal application and that it would be handled informally. “It was all supposed to be hush-hush,” he says.

Oh, it has been the hope of my heart! Regarding current news, the law suit is not a criminal complaint, so no luck there. Nobody seems to be putting him on the block for the silly "stolen election" activity, fraudulent though it was. The conspiracy to sell pardons is still a federal rap, no? So no luck there, either. I think The Cretin stands a better chance of criminal conviction by NYC than Rudy, but let's not kid ourselves, any time done by The Cretin will be no more than a few months with an ankle monitor at his golf resort home.

I don't believe Mueller knew about this, as he first said that Manafort was a operating witness but later pulled back his support. So legally, Manafort, was able to share all the details of the JD's investigation with Trump. Manafort plead guilty to other non russian election interference actions, and seemingly protected Trump. And Trump later pardoned him for those acts.

@@annettemacdonald9192 They were mean? Well good thing Trump doesn't see red or blue, he sees green; so 2 million dollars will still buy them a pardon if he gets reelected...

You see this idea of getting a pardon is really unethical. It's like saying its okay to do wrong because I can get a pardon. They need to get rid of pardons. Then people will be more careful about what they do and say.

"Nothing came of it" obviously because he couldn't cough up the two mil Guiliani wanted. This stinks like a rotten fish. And it wasn't "a few pardons" as the interviewer claims...... It was over 70! How many of those were bought and sold? Could be a whole lot of money changed hands! The Justice Dept better find out! Nobody's supposed to be above the law this way! 🤬

Nobody's surprised by any of the latest details of all the criming surrounding the former guy and his cronies. Thanks for the update but could the media avoid showing their faces please, I can't even down a cuppa joe without spitting it at the screen.🤮

I hope John is willing to testify to this when they indict Rudy for doing it.
