She was born in 1933(less than a year after the Great Depression) in Wyoming, deeply Roman Catholic, ten children, staunch Republican, conservative, she depended on others to shape her world view. First her father, them her husband, then her kids, and of course, FoxNews. She attended many republican presidential campaign rallies, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Trump. These are all pretty consistent traits of people her age who would subscribe to prejudiced leanings. That's not to say she was as extreme as Paul, or that she really grasped the extent of his devotion to white supremacy. I wouldn't know that. I'm just saying that all the right elements are there.

I live in Gosar's district and it returned him to Congress with nearly 70% of the vote. The Sheriff in Yavapai County which is a large part of Gosar's district, meets with the Oath Keepers several times a year and has made comments that they are some of his favorite people. Most of the people here are not what you would call very intelligent. When a politician comes along and says he'll make sure the government doesn't take their guns and big diesel-guzzling pick-ups, he'll get their vote. There are such places in our country.

Referred as the greatest generation. Republicans always using that term as how they want America to be again. This was a time when the President wanted to cut military pay ten percent and the majority of service members still voted him in for his fourth term. This was a time when not only did service members make sacrifices but so did the people. Gas coupons, meat, dairy and bread allowances. The civilians did this without complaint and joined together to defeat fascism. Less than two years ago these same republicans were loosing their sh** over a damn mask. So much as being like the greatest generation. Your grandfather was a good man and his service is appreciated. I'm a veteran myself.

The family is actually divided. Paul Gosar is his mother's favorite child out of 10 children, and she supports him 100% even to the point of denouncing 6 of her other children. Paul was also his father's favorite when he was still alive. Paul also has the support of three of his brothers. The 3 younger brothers and his 3 sisters are the ones who oppose him.......all of whom are deeply unpopular in their deep red home state of Wyoming. Since 2018, the six of Gosar's nine siblings have been speaking out against their brother and endorsed his Democratic opponents.
