And the worst part people don't even realise is that waacking isn't even that common in k-pop. Like there aren't many k-pop releases with waacking in it. People are confusing waacking with Voguing and think it's been done so much now 🤦🏻‍♀️

What’s wild is, and not to discredit other artists, but Chungha made a huge contribution to waacking coming into the kpop mainstream. On every survival show and at every point in her career she showed off waacking, even when people said the movements or her facial expressions weren’t pretty. It’s only normalized now thanks to her and the few idols who weren’t afraid to promote voguing, ballroom, and waacking in a very homophobic industry, ESPECIALLY back in that time. For all the work she put into she absolutely deserves to keep her performance style without any negativity being thrown at it by these newer stans.

Can you believe she was going to retire?! Thank you Jesus (and Jay Park) for convincing her not to. I can see why they made Eenie Meenie the single, but everything about "I'm Ready" screams Chungha. I've always known she's great but this just put her completely in a league of her own for me, so much star power! She made I'm Ready be the most incredible performance from a song that's not anything crazy, but also she's putting out this energy of being a powerful, strong WOMAN and its something I kinda miss from female idols a lot honestly

There's something about her, I think she short circuits my brain or something and I blackout and forget just how phenomenal she is until I see her again. Like I'll remember she's absolutely unreal, but then I go and watch a performance and I'm like HOLY SHIT SHE'S UNREAL?!😅😂

She is just so elegant in her moves the way she carries herself on stage its just amazing. Some of the moves in the I'm ready song in someone else wouild look not good or vulgar, but in her its just art and elegance. She is fantastic.

Yes to everything about Hongjoong and Chung Ha!!! PREACH IT. Chung Ha said in an interview that she has been an ATEEZ fan since their debut and she really wanted to work with them, she was thrilled to get to work with Hongjoong and that she hopes to work with them in the future! She said his rap elevated her track, which I agree! King and Queen, those two! Kinky always brings his A+++ game, I love him! They do duck walk later in the choreo (but you have to watch the dance practice to see it), it's so good, I hope you watch it! She was a waacker before she was an idol, and I love that she incorporated it so beautifully in this song about her return to kpop after her (unintentional) hiatus!

I would literally DIE if she does a challenge with Hanbin for this. Hanbin would absolutely slay that dance if he wanted to

yk im actually so glad you liked this!!! being such a big chungha stan myself i was struggling through this drought of hers and i was so excited for her comeback!! while i'm happy she's back and really enjoyed the styling and choreo of both songs, i have to say idk how i feel abt the songs esp afer waiting for her for so long 😭 both fell a bit short for me, they're not terrible but not chungha's best either in my opinion. i loved hongjoong featuring (he's my ateez bias) and the matchup makes so much sense but idkkkk when listening to both songs without visuals they feel a little stagnant/repetitive :( i'm ready was the bigger disappointment bc i had watched that short version and LOVEDDDDD it omg i thought the song was gonna switch up more!!! i think i'm just spoiled lol i like basically every single chungha cb so i'm not too mad, just hoping she can keep putting out greatness under new management !!

i've had both of these songs on repeat since they released. EENIE MEENIE is laid back and cool, I'm Ready is pulsing and reminds people exactly why you love Chungha, what she is the best at. I think it was a good choice for her to show different styles, experiment a little and most importantly... i love seeing her have FUN with her music again. Hongjoong with Chungha is such a great duo. they always gave me similar vibes, so i've wanted them to collab for years. I remember in a different video you said you wanted HJ to collab with Taeyong too and that's another wish I have (maybe after his military service). anyways, she is planning more music this year and I can't wait to see what else she does next!

I usually don't complain too much about this but I really really feel "I'm Ready" should have been the heavily promoted song. You can make "Eenie-Meenie" the TT but then "I'm Ready" needed to be a double title. They are just letting it slip away quietly when they needed Chung Ha to make a splash with this hiatus comeback. Hope I'm wrong and they make a bigger push with "I'm Ready" later

I think with Eenie Minie people were more mad that it’s wasn’t as powerful as expected now that she had freedom from her old label. It was good and catchy for music shows & challenges, but it came for a moment and went just as quickly.
