ChungHa deep dive when?! I love her so fucking much. ChungHa was one of the members of the original Produce groups, I.O.I (STILL ICONS TO THIS DAY), and after the disbandment of the temp. group, she debuted solo. She, along with Somi, were INSTANT biases for me, and ChungHa is a PERFECT all-rounder, she kills rapping, she is one of the best female dancers in the entire industry, and her vocals are so powerful and deep, and her lives she's so stable.

So happy you guys reacted to this! Hongjoong was so cool with his rap and Chungha has said so many great things about Ateez and HJ when shes mentioned why she wanted him to be on the track 👌 I'd never heard her songs before but been listening since this came out and she has quite a variety of songs, so even though this is quite different to other ones I've heard, she seems to do lots of styles really well! Her voice is lush, especially that pre chorus in this!

Chungha is an amazing vocalist and dancer. A product of a competition show, Produce 101. Debuted in a group called IOI, then when it disbanded, she went solo. She has been one of the popular ones even during her time with IOI. Her previous label didn't take care of her well, plus unfortunately, covid halted and delayed some projects. She is now with Jay Park and has more freedom to try new things. She said in almost all interviews that she especially wanted Hongjoong to do the rap part and couldn't think of anyone else. She was so worried he wouldn't agree, but of course, he did. He is credited for composing and lyrics of the song. This was a perfect collab!

oh my godddd i am on my knees BEGGING for a chungha deepdive 🙏😭 shes one of the most influential artists of her time, literally NO ONE is doing it like her!!! i love her so much. i remember when i first saw she was doing a collab with hj i literally got lightheaded from excitement 💀 this is a bit of a switchup from her usual sound - her music usually leans more towards club music while this is a bit more gritty/grimey? i can def hear joongie's influence here. anyways, if you DO do a deep dive of her, i have to recommend I'm Ready (a dual-release with this song) and Play, which i'd say is her most iconic mv. Stay Tonignt and Bicycle are up there too as her most famous releases. i really hope you guys check out more of her stuff!! she's so talented and deserves all the recognition ever imo :P

So psyched yall reacted to Chungha! She's definitely one of the most iconic soloists in the business, and my personal favorite. She's one of the best All-Rounders in k-pop, her rapping and visuals are top tier and most acknowledge her as one of the very best singers and dancers in the industry. She has a LOT of really good music, and I would be super excited if you did a deep dive. IF YOU DO!! You MUST check out Gotta Go, Snapping, Dream of You and Play. But all her titles, including Bicycle, Stay Tonight, Rollercoaster, Sparkle, Love U, and basically any song she's ever touched is just absolute fire.

It's still crazy for me how most of her "fans" kept throwing tantrums about how "I'm Ready" would be a better title track and kept diminishing EENIE MEENIE. Anyone who isn't biased towards her previous songs agrees that both of them are great, and she herself kept saying in interviews that she wanted to try new music but still wanted to please her fans so she made "I'm Ready" specifically for them... and yet they keep complaining... it's kinda sad to see these reactions for such a cool release tbh :( Even tho it's a "new style" for her she absolutelly killed it, it fits her perfectly imo, really hope that she continues to challenge herself and explore more genres, she could try anything and would deliver an amazing job like this time The performance video for "I'm Ready" came out recently, would be nice to see you guys react to it! 11:23

Commenting just to echo what everyone else is saying---you HAVE to react to Bicycle! It's her best MV and song by far. Dream of You, Snapping, Gotta Go, and Stay Tonight, like everyone else says, are also fantastic songs and MVs. I didn't really see many recs for this but Killing Me is also a good song and really deep MV which is cool to check out. Can't wait for y'all to see how amazing she is!! (I'll be honest, when I first jumped into Kpop a couple years ago I didn't like her because she had a pretty different vibe than a lot of other idols, but she grew on me HARD after a while)

Check out Bicycle, dream of you and gotta go. It's difficult to pick for Chungha. She likes to diversify her sound and she is redicoulsley talented

I watched Carkpop analyze Hongjoong's verse here and he does some REALLY cool stuff. St rhe end instead of keeping with a quick bur kinda standard run of 16th notes, he actually speeds up and goes into oddly spaced (hos description) 32nds, making his lasg syllable hit slightly earlier than it would naturally be with the music. Def one of Captain's best raps!

i had the 42 barbie movies in a week video recommended to me too 😭 chungha is amazing though, she unfortunately had issues with her former company and wasnt able to make music for the last 2 years. i’m so glad she’s back and even more glad she chose hongjoong as a collaborator!! if you check her out again i recommend gotta go and bicycle!!
