Control your actions to a situation, how you respond and deal with it, determines the outcome. My Farther would say “How did you deal with it, how were you to blame, what can you learn from it, so you don’t repeat the same mistakes.

I was wondering if yall would do a prelim to the show on history channel

It should be a pair of pants because it follows English grammar rules not logic rules. When you have a pair of things, they are pluralized. Like a pair of socks, a pair of aces, even the example of a pair of scissors. Pants fall into the same category because even though it is one clothing item, it is a pair of pant legs attached to each other. So we pluralize pant into a pair of pants, which pants is a shorthand of, meaning in both cases it should stay plural.
