To be honest, I never knew that Shaq was ever called Superman.

Not taking anything away from Kenny's career .497 FG% Charles was by far the best all around player out of the 3 of them, he led the league in dunks for two years straight and became only the 4th player in NBA history to accumulate something like 20,000 points 10,000 Rebounds and 4,000 assists, every broke raggely team he played on pretty much under pressure in close high pressure situations and the last 5 minutes game plan was essentially 'Give Charles The Ball' ...Charles was such a great player that while leading the league hands down in off the court incidents many involving criminal charges, moves that would get the vast majority of players an empty locker and stressed out agent, his coaches for the most part LOVED him, they were like fuckit u gotta take the good with the bad & charles not only gets it done, but will absolutely carry a team if need be, with intangibles like how well liked hed be by his peers & how revved up & inspired theyd get by his fearlessness & how hard hed play. With an attitude like fuckit we pay him enough to make bond pay fines & settle lawsuits. Charles is Charles. Shaq sold tickets especially early on, but basically only had a career because of his biological size advantage, if he wasn't 7' 3" in basketball shoes with 4 foot arms who barely even needs to jump to dunk coming at defenders in the low post at well over 300+ pounds then he's Shaq the Plumber with the only rings he's dealing with around the insides of toilets..

Yeah I agree. I feel Chuck is one of the greatest all-round players ever, maybe the best in that particular context. He could do everything at both ends of the court and also take the ball up. He could play the forward positions, cover centre occasionally and at times almost looked like a guard in general play. He modestly states he scored more because he got the ball more, but his percentages were also very good. He was also just entertainment personified. It's a shame that he never got a ring, if nothing else, just to shut Shaq up. Charles has to sit there listening to Shaq pontificating to justify himself as being a better player than Charles just because he has four rings. While Kenny Smith avoids the flak because he was part of squads that won two Championships. Kenny was not even a starter and was nowhere near the player Charles was. Shaq conveniently ignores that fact.

yea Shaq had a better career than Charles Barkley but I can tell you more people will remember Charles than Shaq. Barkley is a social beast and you can tell in the real world can get along with anyone and is humble. Shaq is a bully and insecure. Shaq knows deep down he could have gotten more rings and a better career if he tried hard.

I'd choose shaq over chuck in both aspects of Basketball career and personality. Shaq has a bigger heart and nicer personality.
