Seriously, though, I own a full-size Chevy Van and a GMC Safari minivan. From empty, it would cost me an average of $78.00 up to $81.00 each to fill both of them up; however, I no longer let them get down below half-full. I top off each one with $20.00 and the fuel needle will indeed rise back up from half a tank to full. That's what Shaq is actually saying, and I agree with him because that's how it works out for me.

Yeah, I noticed that with my first car when I started calculating mileage. Someone explained to me that it has something to do with the air pressure in your tank causing it to burn gas quicker when it gets below a half tank. Regardless, I always try to refill at a half tank for that very reason.
