His precision with the ball on table is just incredible.. a true legend
He was my neighbor when he used to live in Germany.

You're jokin, or are you serious?

@@jk9111 I am serious. The German company Liebherr has one of its factories in my town and they even have their own club TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen and Chuang Chih-Yuan was a former member and got a flat next to my house sponsored by them. But at first I thought that he's working at a Chinese restaurant, because the building used to have a Chinese restaurant at the ground floor.

I love his forehandtopspin technique so much. It looks incredible smooth.
This match against joo saehuyk at the wttc 2014 was definitely a monument
1:42 I will remember this rally for the rest of my life. Simply beautiful
By far the most dynamic player of the century.
凄いデスね荘選手🎉素晴らしいfootworkと狙った獲物は逃さない感が素晴らしいですねー😂🎉😊最後の笑顔もいいねっ😊
Great collection of points. He is certainly a very good player, it's just his bad luck that even greater players have been playing throughout his era. But spirit is what matters.

Not bad luck, it takes a lot to be the best. And I don't think it's fair to him if he is remembered simply because he was great in an easier era. So having more competition gives him more feats to be remembered by.
CCY technique and footwork is just like the CNT players. The longevity of his game is amazing. Till this day, he can go on and on in rallies
Love him. Fighting machine, never gives up. Nic guy also. Pitty he retires soon. Whish he had been more lucky concerning big titles, but such is life... Yes agree on wha Yogender Dagar said: Spirit is what counts and only with players like him it is that the other great players can look as good as they do.

Only after watching this compilation did I realise how fast Chuang is. His footwork is incredible!
Great to see you post more :)
Great video! There were so many rallys I've never seen before :)
I always liked his forehand shot technic.
Great player..from indonesia first,,coming
For me he seems like David Ferrer of Table Tennis. Not much power but consistent returns.

He is good. But he need to beat chinese in a final match.
Unfortunately, CCY belongs to the little echelon of players who were consistently in the top ranks on the planet, and yet never achieved anything. Only a few national or continental and minor world tour wins, no world titles, never achieved world no. 1 status. A real shame.

Carl Chen not everyone can be number one. Also number one players might be forgotten. Everlasting players are never forgotten. He is also world champion in doubles and made history in wtttc 2014

So do most of China. A lot of them can dictate top 50 world ranking but only 3-4 can achieve what you said. Following how you think they are the GREAT shame.

@@turtlestu1 includes xu xin, what a shame, lol..but really no 1 doesnt.matter..they all earn decent thru TT , and showmanship is what matters. koki niwa, simon gauzy, ccy never won big world titles..but they r legends.
