How else do you expect to pay for all of our luxuries and services? Our population is growing exponentially and the taxes under Stephen Harper would have been able to afford all of the social services we have as Canadians now. Not to mention it is only under Trudeau that cities like Ottawa have gotten subway stations. In addition the welfare benefits Canada has essentially offsets homelessness for everyone who doesn't have a crippling drug problem or is a Canadian citizen that is capable of spending their money properly.

Disgusting. I got heart inflammation from it and didn't want jt but they were saying we were going to need the vax card to even go into a grocery store. My 28 year old friend had a heart attack at work after. Now he's on disability with 4 kids relying on his wage. He didn't have the option to say no, now he can't work at all. My dad's friend spent weeks in the hospital with severe heart inflammation after the vax And what did it even accomplish? It doesn't stop transmission and I doubt it curves severity. Personally I only got covid after having the vax, two months after, with a 104 fever for two weeks and chest pain. Didn't have anything but a mild cold before it.

Freeland needs to take trudeau and go join the unemployment line...there both done

We are all sitting here watching politicians go "whooooaaaa" and "ooohhhh" and "aaahhhh" like it's a rap battle each time someone on their team speaks. All sitting politicians should be removed from Parliament Hill, with new ones put in who know how to act like adults. Otherwise, with every year that goes by, the parties become more entrenched in their team politics and jack squat gets done.

Truthfully their salaries aren't super high. The benefits and perks and tax breaks they can use however add up... speaking gigs, business deals, shady stuff. That's how the real money is made. Public office is often used as a means to gain wealth, rather than a means to provide your civic service
