I unhooked my pcm from 04 jeep liberty. Clean the plug contacts and plugged it back together now it won't start. What will fix this???

My car is doing the same thing so that's all I need

@@filipinophreak When you say no power, are you saying you put key in ignition, turn, and nothing happens? If so, and the security light is on, you may be in theft mode. This do not mean you need a ECM. You may need a key and a skim module. But you have to get it checked at a shop. Theres a special scan tool that will be needed to diagnose this

@@filipinophreak Curious as to how would the anti theft light be on if you have no power? This mean the cluster has power to it. The 1 device that direct power to all those sources is the ignition switch. You may have a main fuse blown that powers the ignition switch. Only think I can think of is to start checking fuses

Check the grounds too. That's cheap and free for when 02 sensors are acting up. Like all 4 of them at once.

Hello and thanks for your thoroughly explained videos. In the case that you were only removing and reinstalling the old PCM (like when you are just checking the pins), do you have to disconnect the negative from the car's battery and drain any electrical residual current inside the already removed PCM before reinstalling or it doesn't matter? Not when testing. Because at times they suggest you check voltage at a certain place. So the battery usually connected. Even when replacing. Keep in mind when the key off, you should be good.

I hope you respond to this and Hey i got a Chrysler 300c 2008 and is drowning all PCM codes and when i drive fast over 50 and hit a bump the cars slows down and when i turn off ESP off after a while ill start running again only happens after i hit a bump. And all the lights turn on abs esp all those. And they’ll turn off after driving for a while And the codes are Right wheel speed sensor signal not receive and gas-cap and incorrect oil type i just had a oil change done. But the PCM codes turn on abs codes something like that i have change the speed sensor and same problem i have to drive with the esp off to not get codes. And i have subscribe.

Can you remove and clean terminals/connections and plug back in? (Same pcm) or will it still need work?

I have a 05 jeep wk 5.7. mine is throwing all 4 P0031 P0037 P0057 P0051 Heater control circuit low. Sometimes the keep rides just fine days at a time but then it starts stalling and rough idle. How can I test the PCM, to know if it’s actually the PCM or possibly a bad ground?

got a 2017 dodge charger . When i drive it . It says service gearshifter then all the icons light up on the dash . I let it sit . It drives right for one day and it goes back to all the lights on the dash lightening up .Do you know what could cause those problem

Hey bud, its just bolted on with 3 screws right near the battery area. Why on earth are you about to replace a PCM?

I have an 09 Chrysler aspen limited and for some reason the when I turn it on all the lights on the dash come on too and stay on. I turned it on and off a few times and it didn’t do anything. I replaced the battery and made sure the connections were strong and they were. I looked into and all I can assume it is is there was a leak in the sunroof and it ruined the computer. Idk if this is the PCM that needs fixing or something else. Please help!!

Hello my friend, please keep in mind, the PCM have no control over lighting. Those lighting issues are controlled by other modules. Have you gotten the car scanned? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

My 08 Chrysler 300 won’t start after both fuel pumps were replaced. The mechanic told Me to buy a new battery and that didn’t fix the issue either. It only has a clicking noise when trying to start it. I replaced the relay and fuse just to see if that would work. I’m exhausted trying to figure this out. What else could it be?

Hello my friend, that clicking noise usually indicate that the starter solenoid trying to engage the flywheel to allow cranking, however, it is not doing so. Are you certain the battery connection tight and secure? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

Awesome to thr point video! I have a 2005 300c and have owned it since new. About 2 months ago it just started dying on me. It was throwing crank position sensor code and oxygen sensor codes. I have since replaced the fuel tank, pump, fuel reg, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, all 4 02 sensors, spark plugs, purge valve solenoid and TIPM. It still does thr same thing except now not throwing any codes. Do you think this could be the ECM? Thanks and I am subscribed !

Hey Bill, it very well could be. In some cases you can tap on the circuit board of the PCM and it can stall. Watch this video as well kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZ1p3LGynpSxl5c.html. Is this a Hemi engine.

@@OnlineMechanicTips I ended up letting it idle until up to temp. Then when I picked up the ecm to reinstall it stalled immediately. I couldn't get it to shut down again after that right away( I tapped on it and wouldn't quit) but after I ran it for a bit again and moved the wires it quit. at this point I'm gonna spray some type of contact cleaner on the terminals and just run it.

Hey man great content.. I have a 2006 300c with the hemi im getting 2 codes p0307 misfire cylinder 7 and p2320 ignition coil g secondary circuit.. Ive swap coil packs with cylinder 5 but nothing changed.. I pocked around with multi meter and noticed i have a constant 12-13 volt on cylinder 7 coil pack.. Any ideas what i can check? Hey my friend. The coils are likely 12v powered by the ASD and duty cycle grounded from the PCM. Can your scan tool actuate the coils? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

Hey bud, I will go out on a limb and suggest we have different meanings of the term plug and play. Your comment suggest you saying that a PCM with added software will make it plug and play. That my friend is true but thats not what this video about. This video was if you want to get a used or new PCM. Theres no need to program the PCM if you get it out of the same car with the same features and the same software numbers, you will however need to marry the skim computer module to the car.

Try flagship one they sell refurbished pcm provide your vin and program and ship plug and play also solo auto electronics out-of Miami will repair your pcm just have to ship it to them .

Hey bud, it depends. But theres no one size fits all for stalling. This stuff have to be diagnosed. Now, was there in trouble codes in the PCM? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

As I said I have the exact same issue as you all the o2 heaters appears to be broken but checked resistance and wiring and everything looks good. Also placed a broke o2 sensor and pcm just recognize that sensor as a bad one but when I plug a good one appears the 4 codes for the 4 heaters P0032 P0038 P0052 P0058

Yes but the programming was done at a shop. Programming a PCM not a diy job unless you have the right scan tool, the codes and access to the software. Thanks for watching, are you subscribed to the channel?

I suggest you get the car properly diagnosed to tell whats at fault. Theses models not the only this that can set this code. What kind of car are you working on? Are you subscribed to the channel?

hello my friend, you should have some fault codes in your TCM module. Anyway you can get to those? Pretty much depending on the code and the condition of the fluid, you likely will need a transmission unit.

I had these issues and ordered and installed a new programmed pcm for my car from mint. The issues went away until about a week ago and my red lightning bolt light began flashing again. I took it back to the mechanic and he said we’re back at square one. Any advice? Thank u

That is the TCM sees a problem with 2nd gear in your transmission. Is it stuck in limp in? Also are you subscribed to the channel?

@@nanasosexy1 yes, when the 2nd gear failure shows up the computer will default to limp in. This is a internal trnsmission problem. Nothing wrong with your TCM

i have 2011 Dodge Avenger and the car has code P1670 which is “pcm internal shutdown timer rationality” and also code P0335 which is crankshaft position sensor. i already replaced the crankshaft after the car DIED while i was driving it. the car also would not want to start. now the car starts fine but whenever i’m driving the car jerks and seems like it wants to shut off so badly. the engine line is on too and the same codes come back up. the mechanic i took it too wasnt familiar with code 1670 so idk wtf to do. i don’t wanna take it to Dodge dealership bc i spent 3k there 4 months ago to fix other shit this car has been throwing me. does anyone know how p1670 and p0335 plays together and what is wrong with the car 😞 why does it feel like it’s gonna shut off randomly whenever i’m driving? please help

Can this process be done on a used ECU? I'm asking cause I downloaded a aftermarket ECU flash to open up features on my 2014 Chrysler 300 and now I can get it off. It's throwing fault codes. The company doesn't know how to unmarry there product.

@@OnlineMechanicTips Replaced Throttle body with Mopar Throttle .. Still idling very badly, loss power when vehicle in reverse. Fuel intake was insane. Could not exceed 40 mph . Techs diagnosed, Pcm could not be reprogrammed. Techs also fixed a power steering leak .. Additional 260 $ no engine issues . Alternator voltage is ok . New Tune up last month. New filters, fluids, spark plugs the whole 9 ... I am 23 . This would be my 6-7 car. & boyy have I learned to take care of my car 😜 Hopefully there is no more issues.. Pray for me . pick her up on Monday "Griselda Blanco" 👌🏽🌼

Hey MSmith, my mom is going through these exact same issues as you explained it on her 2005 300. The dealership has ripped her of $2000 so far for the EGR valve and throttle and now they want another $1500 to basically plug in this keyboard! I found a website online that ships it to you programmed after giving them the Vin number. They guarantee it will work plug and play and give a two month return policy with lifetime warranty. I just ordered it and hope it fixes the issue. Any updates as to whether you’ve had the same problems with the idling or no acceleration over 40 mph?

A PCM can be replaced the right way by giving the Vin number to your vehicle and reprogram it to your vehicle not the crackhead way this guy is doing it
