The Naked Gun 2 was shelved after test audiences reacted negatively to all of the space shuttle Challenger jokes in it. At great personal expense, the producers brought back the original cast for multiple re-shoots, but were legally prohibited from calling it part 2 or part 3, so the judge ruled it would have to be 2 1/2 or 2.5; they went with the former choice, since they figured audiences wouldn't understand decimals. As for Part 3, it was delayed because OJ kept murdering random people on the set, and eventually shelved. Parts 4-32 were plagued with problems and left incomplete, due to numerous mysterious mishaps, generally attributed to a curse by an old Gypsy Jim Abrahams bumped into during the shooting of "Kentucky Fried Movie" in the 70s. Part 33 was going fine until OJ killed his wife, so they re-cut it to downplay his role, once again legally required to re-title it as 33 1/3. Hope this helps.

The Nerd's rant about Sequel titles aged beautifully. Just look at the new Halloween and Scream movies. The 2018 Halloween shares the same title as the 2007 Rob Zombie film and the 1978 original. And the new Scream in 2022 shares the same name as the original in 1996 apparently Hollywood didn't get the memo. This was a problem back in 2007 and even today it's still a problem.

Seed of Chucky is the worst Chucky film. Bride of Chucky at least attempted to have a balance of humor and horror. Seed of Chucky was pretty much parodying itself. It was almost embarrassing to watch. I guess it's good if you want a laugh. I've heard really good things about Curse of Chucky. Some critics went as far as to say it's the best direct-to-video sequel since Wrong Turn 2.

Actually, there are a game missing in the list. I believe VR Missions is cannon. It is on the MGS Anthology set that has all the cannon MGS games. Not mentioned and not cannoned, AC!D and AC!D2 (the two MGS Card games) and Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus. Also, Metal Gear 2: Snakes Revenge is also a MG game that is not cannon along with Revengence.

That's how time works. In a couple more years it would have been made nearly 15 years ago then 5 years after that it would have been made 20 years ago and so on and so on

@@vcom741 Yes, that and it's a soft reboot, and doesn't require playing the others to enjoy. It's less intimidating to new players if there isn't a number attached.
