Dislikers are probably session pros that would play it better. I know a few such folks cuz I played in a band of this kind for 5 ish years. This deserved much more views. And it gives a hella good time to listen and watch.

You know your vibe solo killed it when the sax players are doubled over laughing because of how badass it is. 🤣

Akira Toriyama has now left this world. . .and this is the VERY first song my mind jumped to in his wake. He brought a much younger me so many happy memories with Chrono Trigger. Sleepless nights. My very first F in school, Algebra. The god damned professional level you madmen play at does such unapologetic justice to his work, pulling back the veil of time for just a little while. No way to say thank you enough.

To be fair, Akira Toriyama only did the character design for Chrono Trigger. Yasunori Mitsuda composed the soundtrack and isn't gone from us just yet. RIP Toriyama. You will be missed.

i cant believe im so late to this, this is probably the most outstanding take on this amazing track. Holy shit, this is what I fantasized about playing one day when I heard this BGM six years ago! Chrono Trigger's Soundtrack in general is a goldmine in the terms of musical exploration and improvisation. Congrats!

This game was so much fun to play as a kid. It's fun to relive those memories decades later by performing the music. You're right; the Chrono Trigger soundtrack is a goldmine.

This alone is enough to get me fully into jazz. Also, way to pull off a bass solo. Few groups actually do it well

It's a blast covering video game songs in this format to open up solo sections. Farko always takes great bass solos!

The heart and soul that pours out of this takes my breath away every time.

The piano solo is perfect. The pianist builds it up slowly into an amazing climax.

All the solos on this are really great. Imo bass solos are soooooo hit or miss and can be really hard to pull off, but I really loved this one.

The slower tempo allows for so much more feel and groove to emerge from the piece. Incredible instrumentation and performance. Stunning the whole way through, props all round!!

I've watch this video 5 times over the course of 2 weeks and I think its one of the most amazing things i've ever seen. kudos.

Mine too...the last minute or so really brought em out. This mix is composed so emotionally. It's so fire I love it

..can we talk about how the pianist was killing it for two minutes straight, starting at about 2:40 . and then that guitar solo. and that moment at 8:48 / 9:52 when you realize the sax player and drummer were watching their vibraphonist KILL it! this was the dopest experience I've had in a minute! just subbed. I hope they're still making music.

This is so crazy. The solos are out of this world and when they all play together.....INSANE!!!! This is the sound track of my childhood's greatest moments!!! SO AMAZING!!!!! That xylophone solo was ridiculousness.

I love Chrono trigger and haven't herd a rendition quite like this before. Reminds me heavily of some of the Japanese jazz my dad would listen to when I was a kid. Love it!! ♥️♥️

I know great job I was watching and I thought the bass was the best and as each solo came it got better and I kept doubting props to the bassist (not to say sax and xylophone wernt good) he shocked me

At live shows Farko, the bassist, takes solos on just about every tune. He's a fantastic soloist and lays down some sick grooves during all tunes.

Was playing some Mario Kart and clicked on this because it was in my recommended...a couple minutes in, and Mario Kart was muted to let this masterpiece take helm of my spoiled ears

I've gotta buy a whole new wardrobe because of that vibraphone solo
