The problem is that many patients either dont respect the basic measures such as avoiding smoking, alergens etc. The other issue is that almost no ENT will try to find the cause of patients sinusitis. They just prescribe medication without knowing the clear cause.

I had that happen with one ENT. He wasn't at all happy when I finally got rid of my CRS because he knew I wouldn't be coming back. I even told him I had started using Manuka honey and xylitol to heal my CRS and he told me to stop using the honey because it could be dangerous. I asked him why he said something about the blood brain barrier. Of course I kept using the honey and xylitol. next time I asked why he said I should stop, he told me oh just forget about that. One year later and I finally got rid of it because of using manuka honey and xylitol. He said nothing. Weird.

I have had terrible sinus issues for years, my triggers are dust and some foods, I removed dairy altogether, it helped. I also find that spicy food and deep fried foods are also a trigger, along with complex carbs, breads, noodles, baked goods , caffeine also cause a flare up. I’ve been researching this for years to try no fix some of the pain. What has worked, fasting, celery juicing, eating a healthier diet, greens, proteins, pineapple , grapefruit have all helped. I use hydrogen peroxide in my ears, it definitely helps to unclog and move the mucus, face massages to the back of my neck and now I’m doing acupuncture

Saw ENT and now an allergist soon. Cat scan looked ok according to the "experts". Blood work came back good.....its always the case EVERYTHING always looks good but I still have this horrid pain an discomfort. Does anyone have constant Post Nasal Drip like me? I even went gluten free but do not notice a change. I do lots of study into this and I can't find the issue. Symptoms do not meet the medical jargon. Its chronic after 3 months.

I'm sorry to hear about that condition. maybe you could give a try to a type of meditative state where you imagine a beautiful white healing light coming down and into your head. the white light continuing on in your body in areas that it needs to heal itself. Tell your cells to heal ☀️them self and step into a love vibration and manifest yourself as healed and reinvigorated. raise your vibration into a healing dimension through consciousness and believing. I'm sending you love and light and wish you to be healed.

My grown son is living in a moldy home that’s being remediated. He’s been living at my home for a year and a half, blows his nose constantly, and sure he has a fungal infection. I’ve gotten him an air humidifier and he’s been doing the nasal washes, but he doesn’t like it. His head feels like there’s horrible pressure from inside. He’s also had meningoencephalitis at age 7 and several TBIs. We are desperately looking for help, but he just had covid and his anxiety level is through the roof to the point of paranoia and picking at his knuckle. This has been going on for over a year, and he’s become agoraphobic. It’s living hell! He just got disability, so that will help. I’m not sure where to turn next because I’ve used up all my funds on labs for mold exposure which are all positive. I’m not sure where to go from here. We do have an appointment with a neuropsychologist in a couple days. This info was one of the best I’ve seen. Thank you!

If he has constant head pressure it could be due to a multitude of things including a Pineal Gland Cyst which I have and only got an MRI because I had trouble breathing at night which caused full body numbness. I too have a slight pressure in my head and am trying to see if its my sinuses and chronic post nasal drip or the cyst which I have to get removed eventually. If he still has the pressure 3 months later he should get an MRI.

Sadly most of these treatments don't work. I regularly use nasal rinse and also nasal steroids and get little to no relief. I feel that the nasal sprays are not getting into the areas needed due to their design, I have read that drops are more effective to get deep into the sinus. Also another major factor is dryness, your sinus swell up a lot when dry, if your environment is very dry that can wreck havoc on your breathing.

I have similar issues, and I've seen some videos where people suggest that the sinuses are irritated by the acidic vapours blown up by reflux. I think it's called LPR or silent reflux, if you wanted to search for it.

My ENT Specialist checked my sinus cavities about a month ago using a Nasal Endoscopy. At that visit, my ENT Specialist told me that there was no sign of Sinus Disease but that my nasal passages were inflamed. She had me use both Fluticasone & Azelastine Nasal Spray twice a day. Well about two weeks ago, I went & used my Nasal Spray & my nose started bleeding. So I stopped. Well, I went & had a CT Sinus done & now I have Sinus Disease. My question is, is it possible that using both steroidal nasal sprays cause the Sinus Disease or made my inflammation way worse?
