Chronic Emotions Are Trapped In Your Muscles

Be A KING FOR LIFE With Elliott: www.elliotthulse.com/king-for...
In this video, Elliott discusses his morning routine, revealing a moment of self-awareness during prayer and meditation where he recognizes tension in his body, particularly in his facial expressions and shoulders. Introducing the concept of neurotic holding patterns and muscular armoring based on Wilhelm Reich's work, Elliott emphasizes the importance of understanding and releasing these patterns for improved well-being. He invites viewers to scan their bodies for unconscious tensions, highlighting the connection between physical and emotional states.

    Elliot - I love who you’ve become over the years. You’ve managed to combine your love for the body with deep spiritual wisdom - and you have combined them in a unique way to create your own lane. Seems you’re moving into another magician stage. I’ll be dedicating my life to these teachings - they really pull me in, and my gut tells me I’ll study under you one day. Lol

    It's amazing how much we dont know until we know. I suffered as a youngster for years with pain and insomnia which led to depression and just a vicious cycle of hell..years of seeking medical help led nowhere. They don't have the deep knowledge needed to heal anyone that isn't with a pill Finally after giving up and wanting to end my life, my last resort was one last shot at a holistic chiropractor specializing in network spinal analysis. Holy shit! Holy shift! Saved my life. Had zero idea about energy and emotions amd how it all if not expressed takes form as stagnation and physical pain in the body. I finally took A real breath down to my balls! Cried, laughed, vibrations, waves, etc. This led me to ayahuasca, sound healing and energy work. My goodness. We don't know until we know. What a Journey. I was on the edge of death then I was given wings! Now I'm always self regulating and my spine has a wave that never goes away. Rides up from the sacrum all the way up :) ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

    My favourite thing about your content is that you're always changing, always growing and always talking about new and different stuff. It's cool to see you continuing this journey of constant change. This particular topic is really interesting to me and is something I've been thinking about a lot because I'm riddled with tension and trauma and it's caused me health problems. Thanks for the interesting and thought provoking vid.

    muscle control, it's crazy how certain muscles are controlled with others and we can't completely isolate them and how your emotional state can leave you doing things with your muscles you're completely unaware of, it's actually something that doesn't get spoken about enough in the fitness world

    Elliot, this information is so important. People live trapped in their bodies and they do not know the evil roots of their symptoms. Several times in your video you said "be aware of the tension in your body" and i think this is the fundamental part to fix any physical or psychological issue. Being aware of the emotion that manifests in your body can help to heal your mind and vice versa.

    I agree with what you've said, when I sit in silence and pray/meditate, I begin with a body scan, and if the bodyscan is effective, if I can relax my body fully, my mind is calm, if not, it is still something going on in my mind. I do it as much as I can, but somehow I can't do it in the morning, as I'm just waking up. It is better for me at around midday or later in the day.

During anatomy lab when dissecting the cadavers it was surprisingly tough to get through at times. Interesting video!

    I used to watch your videos as a young teenager. CT fletcher rich piana and you were a continuous source of inspiration and perspective on all things lifting. Im know 26 working as a doctor in Oxford UK, with ambitions to move to the USA and become a ED/ Space med Doctor. Unfortunately Ive seen my body become more feeble over the years and my posture and attitudes tighten. I see my next phase as a highly physical one and the way you connect the physical with the spiritual I think is just what I need going forward. Thank you remaining to be your true self and sharing these ideas with the world. I wonder if you can advise me on how to maintain the balance of ambition, being a person with rigid principles and disagreeableness which I think is important in a man but also welcome in openness and and a certain amount of softness too.I think the later can help with relationship building, foster change and help development.

    I still need to watch. Emotions is the topic though. It baffles me how many women think it's okay to have babies faces covered in one of those wraps with a baby. Other women get upset about comments about it, it's each mothers right to cover the babies face and make choices. This is one of the reasons I say men should be more involved fathers, not because of some feminine equality shirt, but because women do such stupid stuff. Babies breathing in carbon dioxide can be a factor for things like SIDS. Fathers need to know this stuff so they can protect their children from mothers. A lot of mothers post photos in FB, make KZread videos, wear their baby like a extra attention addition to their outfits. It's stupid. The odd photo, okay but 1 or 2 will do. Sometimes it's fathers who kill their children, but a lot of children get hurt by mothers. Just because a woman is a woman doesn't mean she is a good mother.

    @GourSmith

    @@Jordan-hm8zh The biggest piece of advice I can give is this: try not to look at this as a band-aid fix. Don’t look at it as “I hope some deep-breathing exercises will help over time” … Look at it as “I want to be a deep-breather. Not just for certain moments of the day, but continuously throughout the day for all my life”. When your breath is shallow(and 99% of people are shallow breathers) you’re living at the absolute *minimum* … Live at the maximum. When you do your breathing practices, make sure you bring a very sincere and attentive quality to it. Then, when you finish your practice session, try to carry that same quality of attentiveness and sincerity throughout your day, no matter what activities and actions you move into throughout the day. If you look at like you are now, it would take lifetimes to get anywhere. Allow a transformation to happen.
