Just got diagnosed with this and I’ve never smoked. I live in a regional country town. I work from home so no irritants. I’ve had this for two and a half years straight of chronic coughing before it was diagnosed. Have no idea where or how I got this.

I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and was given benzonate and Claritin for it. She told me that the second stage would be steroids. Should she had given me antibiotics instead?

What a great video. But what if the cough is sooo bad and hard that the bladder loosens and lots of accidents happend constantly and coughs are not productive at all. This chronic bronchitis has laster over a year. I cannot do anything without a lozenge in my mouth every time. As soon as i finish one i have to put another one in. I take Fisherman's Friend which is the only one that helps. Due to how long I've been taking these, my teeth have becoming super sensitive and hurts. I guess because of the extreme menthol? Also, I do have oxygen tank and even an asthma puffer. Breathing in air is what causes severe cough and for that i have to be on the toilet bcz accidents will happen, even #2. My coughs are super intense I feel my brain is gonna explode. Doctors have not helped me at all. I have even tried a physio breathing tube thingy. That helped my cough be a bit productive but it stopped being productive. I cough so loud I wake up my neighbors. Help!

A great way to clear the airway is to drink fresh squeezed sugar cane.... unless you are insulin resistant. In which case that is likely the cause of the inflammation.

Is there any vitamins that I can give to heal. My daughter is having bronchitis. Doctor has given her inhaler. What can I do ?

I have all does symptoms when I go see the doc he gives me a treatment for me to breath then some shots but after a few days I'm back with the asthma bronkitis and short of breath I usually use two inhalers a month or if I'm lucky 6 months do you think I should see a pulmonary Doctor ???

Sooooo.... I cough a lot, mainly during seasonal changes. I have been coughing for 12 years and it gets old! I have never smoked, no shortness of breath, if anything its the opposite. When I am stationary is when I cough... Confusing as heck! I play sports, hike 14ers, free dive, all with no problem. The allergy test is negative, and I still cough. What is my problem? Bronchial scaring maybe from coughing so long? Post Nasal Drip? I would think that's it due to it being seasonal, so allergies would be the irritant, but what am I allergic to? been tested for 150 different things. Thoughts?

WONDERFUL PRESENTATION ... but why don't metion Physiotherapy as treatment, as a physiotherapist I tell you there's so many techniques to help chronic bronchitis patients through all phases of illness.

How are u doing dude hope ITS just acute one, i got bronchitis last year until today i have problem with mucus in my throat. I don't even smoke, drink alcoholic or Vape my doctor said the best possible explanation is because of polluttant or allergent. Hope u get well soon

Bronchitis in Ayurveda is correlated with kasa roga. In this disease, there is aggravation of vata and kapha dosha. Due to which cough, cold, excessive mucus production, breathlessness, chest congestion, & chest tightness take place. In bronchitis, there is formation of ama in the lungs.

Yes you're right. Also humid climate is also main cause. If you have bronchitis and you're in humid climate zone then you should either move to dry climate area or it would take longer to cure.

I have a question: If you have chronic bronchitis, do the symptoms show up when you get sick again, or are they always there? When treated, I mean. I'm a little confused. :D

Its very easy to detect chronic bronchitis. Doctors will simple use their stethoscope and hear the sound from your chest. Even you can hear it without any instrument. Chronic Bronchitis would take 3 weeks to cure.

Mohiuddin Ansari Alright, it turns out I have asthma. Can this happen to anyone after being sick, or do you need to have a tendency for that beforehand? Because the doctor asked me if I had a problem with getting well after being sick as a kid or not.. If you know, of course.

@@Mr.ashukashyap cant drink cold, weezing, cough, plegm, cold weather really worsen my symptoms, i also feel tightness in my throad and chest and montelukast relieves all my sypmtoms, right now is summer type weather here in texas and im feeling a million bucks. I dread cold weather
