Ive seen so many other videos about how to uninstall it completely. Something always went wrong, would have to go on a huge tangent trying to correct one administrative thing after the other. The last thing you showed was so simple and worked right away. Now I don’t have to uninstall it every time and lose my bookmarks. Gonna come back to this video every time my Chrome crashes and won’t open. Which is basically monthly… most simple and fast fix for this issue I’ve ever seen. Thank you.

thank you for offering free solutions... i tried all of the ones you mentioned twice.. and chrome still won't open. I also deleted my malware protection (kapersky).. and still nothing...

3rd method worked for me mate. Thanks. In the past, only Chrome had this issue with me. Now it affected my Microsoft Edge too. Do I do the same case here? What could have caused this?

In the first method, if I delete the first shortcut will my other chromes get deleted as well? The other chrome's accounts I made with the same short cut?

I didnt do it the same exact way but this definitely helped. For me after i went into chrome file location there was another exe file that said new_chrome.exe i clicked that then it started working. Thanks.

Compatibility mode (method 2) worked for me - but not until I also clicked the *"Change settings for all users"* button at the bottom.

i didn't see this option. another video said about changing the name to google1. Now i cant click on it. it says the file was moved or changed, and can't change it back. i can't do short cut. cant do number 2 either. i guess because of it was changed to google1.

mine did not work, on all 3 methods. when i open chrome (downloaded from chrome/google website) it flashes black then closes immediately. Why could this be happening?

Thanks, the second one worked for me... but for some reason every time I open chrome it works only once, then I realized you have to keep going to "properties" then "compatibility" then change it to Windows 8 again, is there a way where I can keep it on Windows 8 so I don't have to go through the process every singe time I open chrome? @@yokopollo Yes I did, I went to properties in Google Chrome, then Compatibility, then I unchecked "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" And I put a check on "Disable fullscreen optimizations" This worked for me...
