    Thanks for all the free knowledge. I watched a video you did on beginner mistakes yesterday as well as a few other of your older videos. I've been wrapping for a few months now and my boss is a great teacher, when he has the time. I've learned a lot on my own so far and my boss has been impressed. That being said the truck I was working on today was my best yet. By far. Boss was like damn. I showed him the video I watched and he said okay you can watch his stuff he knows what he is doing, hes a professional. So once again thanks for taking the time to make your videos and helping me advance in my new career.

    Next time leave some of the backing on and not pull it all off. Easier to "glass" 1 side instead of the whole hood. Then when you start the other side pull the backing off as you install. I've had great success doing that method using aggressive materials like Hexis chrome

    Wrapping over flaking paint is a bad idea. If you need to reposition the wrap in order to remove wrinkles it will pull flakes of paint with it and ruin your wrap.

  • @annellapodaca4280
    @annellapodaca42803 жыл бұрын

    How can you tell that one of those wrinkles won’t become a crease while working the squeegee across the film? Cause boy it’s happened to me 😢 And you glide the squeegee so confidently it almost gives me anxiety! But then I remember you’re CK wraps and I should relax lmao Sending love and good vibes from L.A! 🤙🏽

  • @anonymous2049

    @anonymous2049

    Chrome acts a lot different with those kinds of wrinkles. With wrinkles like this on chrome you spread out the tension by squeegeeing across these wrinkles slowly as he did in the video. If you squeegee in a parallel direction right into it it will definitely crease. Also chrome doesn’t stretch easily so it lays down pretty well doing this technique rather than regular vinyl where it’ll stretch and create tension marks where you pull.
