Loved this movie so much. I grew up a navy brat so my household was strict and i remember really understanding your character and saying, “well she’s right, Lizzie needs to respect!” Lol I watched the premiere with my dad and he really liked it to. I can remember the whole night & all the details. I was like dad you have to watch!! We got to get pizza lol my dad passed away recently and this night was one of my favorite memories with him. Thx girl and Disney for the memories ❤️

Cadet Kelly has always been one of my favorites movies. The night before my first day of college I couldn't sleep because I was so nervous and Cadet Kelly came on at like 3 in the morning and I took it as a sign that everything was gonna be okay. Thank you for giving baby freshman me the confidence boost I needed to start theatre school!

When I was a kid my dad would threaten me with military school all of the time & I'd just be like FINE I'll just live my best Cadet Kelly life then! 😂

Saw you play Belle on Broadway. You sounded amazingly like the original voice actress. I’ll always remember that show because when Beast died right before the transformation, a kid yelled “No!” in the theatre and the audience laughed.

I loved this movie growing up and saw it a thousand times, but haven't seen it in years. Watching it back now, I still think you did an incredible job with this part! So subtley terrifying and cold. Brilliant!

I was OBSESSED with Cadet Kelly when it came out, and I still talk about how much I like it to his day 😂 I'm so happy that I was the prime demographic when these great DCOMs came out.

Yes one of my favorite DCOMs!! I remember watching it on Disney+ and being upset that Relating to a Psychopath was not playing... and if I remember right, One Girl Revolution was taken out too? They did the same in "Gotta Kick It Up"....a lot of the iconic music had been changed. But overall great nostalgia. Awww I used to be so obsessed with Cadet Kelly. I was stoked when they announced this movie because it was my two Disney faves in a movie together. So now I’m obviously getting on Disney+ to watch this!

When you noticed the song being changed during the dance off scene I was like it’s not the only song that they changed. In the DCOM The Other Me the song used originally during the cafeteria dance scene was Bringin Da Noise by *NSYNC was changed. In the episode of Lizzie McGuire where Miranda develops an eating disorder the music that was used originally during the end music video was the song Us Against the World by Play was changed.

Dude that really irritated me whe. I first got disney plus the first thing i watched was the other me and i had been building and watching for the cafeteria scene to hear nsync and then they changed the music i was hurt, thrown off. Angry like wtf dudeed

I actually have Cadet Kelly on dvd. It was one of my favorite Disney movies when I was a kid. Christy Carlson Romano definitely did a great job playing Captain Stone. She made me laugh a lot of times in that movie. Like in the scene where Hilary Duff's character was getting exhausted from doing the outside course she pulls Hilary ear and says "get moving!" or something like that. That part cracked me up.

I'm a former cadet, we used to watch this all the time and laugh at the inconsistencies in military regulation. This was still definitely one of my favorite movies, which motivated me to join the drill team!

My favorite scene in Cadet Kelly has to be the drill/dancing scene in the yard! Bc you could tell they were having fun while trying to stick with the attitude. Stone didn’t want Kelly to know she liked her, while Kelly was always trying to break Stone (in a good way) ♥️

I actually love how you just genuinely enjoyed watching it and didn’t criticize yourself like a lot of celebrities do when they watch their stuff

This is, still to this day, one of my favorite movies and works you’ve done!

We need a sequel to this movie , now with their kids or something just saying

Cadet Kelly has been one of my fav classic Disney movie since now! Really glad watching your reaction to your role on Cadet Kelly and yet informing us fun facts of the movie. Your works in Disney were amazing, those good 'ol times 😭✨

My favorite part was the dance off at the end. When u guys whipped out those streamers, I got GOOSEBUMPS lol

Omg, Cadet Kelly was one of my favorite movies by Christy! Her acting was soo good in this movie, that I believed how mean her character was! Lol. I just have alot of respect for her acting in this movie because it showed how good of an actress she is! And I loved that dance scene at the end...how could they cut the music out at that part?! That was one of my favorite songs! "I'm a young girl Revolution!!" 🎶🎶

In high school I was gonna do ROTC, was feeling it... but still wanted to stay carefree as Kelly and creatively, independently free spirited. But still nice I got an appreciation for ROTC.

This was one of my favorite movies, because it showed a different aspect to family dynamics and how people who seem incompatible with each other can come together with things in common. Kelly not only expanded her immediate family with her stepdad, but also created a “found family” at her school. 😊 Thanks for sharing this vlog!

One of my favorite Disney channel movies! My favorite scene is duff having to do the obstacle course and then ruining the dress 😂 The smirk that "Brad" gives her in that moment is heart throbbing! 😍♥️

Yeesss the nostalgia is real. I can't tell you how many scenes from DC shows or movies that they changed the music for because of copyrights. "Relating to a Psychopath" was my jam because of this movie. As well as "One Girl Revolution"! I was watching "The Other Me" and was disappointed to hear some generic music instead of Nsync's "Bringin Da Noise". I can say the same for that episode of Lizzie McGuire when Lizzie and Miranda were filming a dance video. "Us Against the World" was my childhood 😭❤

This movie was what started my love for the military. And here I am an Airman in the air force. Thank you for your amazing work in this movie!

Wow I didn't even recognize her at first. Faveeee piece of work she did was Even Stevens. She made me into a stronger person and to stand up for myself when I was younger lmaoo whether it was mean or not.

Cadet Kelly was one of my favorite Disney Channel movies of all time! This hit me with some serious memories. I fangirled over you and Hilary Duff like crazy.

Oh my gosh this hit my childhood hard seeing the blanket being thrown on the floor and get disrespected 🤣🤣🤣 such a throwback lol

Okay just a theory: Disney Channel has done the crossovers. Raven, Hannah Montana and Suite Life. They have also done crossover of animation like Kim Possible, Recess, Lilo & Stitch and Proud Family. Since there is a new Lizzie McGuire, is it possible we may not get the whole Even Stevens family back but can we get a cameo from Ren Stevens at least? Lizzie McGuire takes place in LA I believe. The Stevens lived in Sacramento. And Ren could have work in LA as a teacher or something and she can cross path with Lizzie? Maybe a Cadet Kelly Easter Egg too? I’m 26 but I would legit scream if this was true.

Love this movie!! My favorite growing up was Kim Possible! To say I was obsessed is an understatement!!!! She was what helped shape who I am today thanks to you💕 My moves to save the world are a little different….. Through sustainability engineering!! You were and still are a big sister role model to me. Even now with helping me not feel so alone with processing trauma. Love you tons Christy!💕
