    I liked how Kenneth Branagh invoked Thomas Hardy, then Nolan joked, but Robbie Collin was keen enough to dig deeper, and Nolan revealed a true insight into process-drawing inspiration from City Lights for a resonant moment. Excellent Q&A, thank you!

    They're talking about the misunderstanding between the soldier and the blind man (soldier thinks the man is averting his eyes) "It's my attempt to try and do something Chaplin-esque, and I'm a huge admirer of the silent era of films. Both Murnau and Chaplin would find some way to sentimentalise something in a visual way"

    She never was an unattractive person proprely speaking, but I do find her kinda more attractive than usual in this video. She might be one to actually getting finer with age.
