Does this interviewer let Christopher finish 1 sentence in the entire interview?

Exactly. I wish Rose would shut up and let Hitchens talk.

neil ryan I think in fairness to Charlie it is only a fifteen minute time slot and he is trying to get some brief answers so he can get all the questions into the interview.

It's a conversation more than an interview. Hitchens didn't seem annoyed.

Sadam was a war criminal...a principled man would of wanted him out the moment he gassed kurds and his own people. Also yes very very intriguing to see him begin the formulation of his views on Iraq here.

That moustached Georgian guy (surprisingly he was a russian chauvinist) in your profile picture would have made you face the wall for "counter revolutionary" activity because of this comment

It’s pretty funny to watch hitch be as short and impatient with Rose in this interview as Rose is to everyone

Both of these men love the sound of their voices however only one was ever worth listening to. Mr Rose learn to ask a question and then shut up. Most of us could listen to Mr Hitchens all day without interruption.

People keep saying Charlie Rose is particularly irritating in this interview because of his interruptions. However, a wiseman once said that interruption equates to interest. Christopher could just be a particularly interesting person.

Perfect Title "...A Manufactured (self) Intellect" i.e. Christopher Hitchens...a 3rd class degree in philosophy passing off as an Intellect with Demons from his past that would not leave him until he succumbs to self Destruction blaming his Father's Genes and unable to LIVE with the Fact that his Mother's Suicide Pact with her Lover is her desire...Taking on the Religious & Intellect world with his radical BIGOTED arguments especially on women doing GOOD for others and Beilltling them with his Derogatory comments and at times VULGARITY to boot emphasising his disgust for what his mother did!!!
