Both the parents are pos. She chose addiction and lost custody. He didn’t think the boys life was worth it. Simply speaking for doesn’t work. You have to literally make the right choices to have your kid around / with you at all times. The fact that the mother ALSO was not able to protect him because of her past, it’s def very sad. That boy didn’t deserve to have both of these people are parents.

Gregor killed that child, no question about it. The jury seems to have been asleep during most of the trial or just plain ignored the evidence presented in this case. For example, the prosecution presented evidence of the forensic pathologist affirming that the child had died from blunt-force trauma resulting in lacerations to his heart and liver and related contusions. The prosecution presented evidence that before getting arrested, Gregor had looked up what the timeframe for filing murder charges was after an autopsy and had done internet searches on "internal bleeding and gastrointestinal issues". The very fact that Gregor fled the state after dropping the child off at the hospital shows his consciousness of guilt. The prosecution also presented evidence that before the child's death, the school and the child's mother had repeatedly found dozens of bruises on the child's body and forehead and that the child had complained of getting struck by Gregor multiple times. The prosecution also presented evidence that Gregor had at one point googled if red marks on a child's body will turn into bruises and had done internet searches on whether he could evade the police by turning his phone to airplane mode. So evidence pointing to his guilt was abundant and overwhelming, but the jury seemed to have sided with Gregor for some reason.

@hebatalaat3465 - The defendant was found guilty of endangering a child & manslaughter. He was acquitted of the murder charges. The manslaughter charge means his actions may have caused the death, but he didn't intend to kill him or plan it. The endangering charge was most likely the treadmill video of him speeding it up, the little boy falling repeatedly, then the defendant putting him back on the treadmill even though he couldn't do it, & he was hurt. That video sealed his fate.

Grandfather definitely was pulling strings to manipulate police as a retired cop. They knew and did not care because they are cruel and emotionally immature people who care only about keeping face.
