Christone Kingfish Ingram, Andy Timmons, and Andy Wood play "Going Down" by Freddie King, live in TN

Музыка

Hello music lovers! A fan sent me a link with some footage from a show we did in my home state of Tennessee. Its just cell camera footage but i thought you all might be into it. Andy Timmons and Kingfish are fantastic musicians and it was a delight to share the stage with them and make some music together. We had a blast on the jam section of the show, hers some of the classic Freddie King tune "Going Down". Ben Eller on bass, Andy Campbell on drums. cheers all!

If Kingfish has you building guitars you are a master craftsman sir. He's one of the few musicians I travel long distances to see. Or at least I did and will again when live music gets rollin once more.

Both the Tele And the LP are so special. I just love the way, they are carved. Genuine craftmanship. In my own humble workshop, I'll try to carve one body in the style, you invented. Thanks for sharing. Btw. Kingfish's guitars sounds awesome as well. He is indeed very happy for the T-style model. Great job, Sir - you have provided guitars for the next king of the blues. No more - no less

@@AffiBlues just a heads up. The guitar is a ‘59 spec angles. So the neck is set at 4° w/17° headstock angle. One piece Honduran mahogany body w/2piece quilted maple top carved from 1” thickness. Not an easy build.

@@michaelchertoff2900 it will be my life's challenge to try build one LP style carved your way from the edges. It looks so impressive. I have two humbuckers from a LP copy from the 70ties. They are sounding fantastic - brighter than Gibson. My intention is to ad a Fender low noise to make it versatile. I'm 66 yo, just retired and my budget is tight. Imagine a bright bridge humbucker combined with a middle single coil. I hardly wait for the right piece of wood for the body, which will be a light mahogni. There will be no chamber and the neck will be bolt on. Both my workshop and my budget is limited. Wish me luck.....and thanks for your response

God damn it Andy Wood, Andy T and Kfish Andy Wood impressed me the most not on level of soloing but his spectrum is pretty wide. One would possibly assume the real fire blues with rage might be over courtesied with his delicate background. We’ll that background may have mandolins and country nuts a firewall. Good on you brother.

Usually these all star jamborees are sh!t shows, but this is great. Amazing how well they played together and complimented one another. A thought came to mind watching this - it reminds of the scene from Close Encounters when the main character commented on the three UFO's in the police chase scene, "They're glued to the road!!!"
