Every year for the holiday season, Kings Island transforms into a winter wonderland for Winterfest. A dazzling display of Christmas lights turns the park into a feast for the eyes...and with tons of shows, Christmas characters, seasonal treats and holiday themes for several of their amazing rides, this becomes a family friendly event that should not be missed.
This year, 2019, my family and I decided to attend the event on for the first time ever! It was an amazing time! While enjoying the festivities, we stopped into the Boo Blasters in Boo Hill dark ride...and to my surprise...the ride had a Christmas overlay for the event!
