It is somewhat routine to move so often for us now haha but this move feels harder because our boys were born here and we found such strong community! But I know God is leading us to nashville, so many 'God winks' along the way! Thanks for the encouragement!

I swear, I have got to quit investing so much heart into other peoples homes!!! I have had a few bloggers I follow move in the past year... and it devastates me every time. I love watching your visions come to life... I know every room.. I guess I imagine what it would be like to live in the spaces you create. Then BAM! Get over it! Yes! so sad to leave this house, it really is like a dream house for us. I pray one day we will be back!

First, you look awesome. Second, I also have kids and couldn’t agree more about making Christmas special to them. I have been decorating for three years Santa vintage and they love it every single time. This year I switched completely and go more colorful and got inspired by the Anthropology houses. Today, we light up the tree and loved to see the “English village” below it. My kids got very excited. I like neutrals but I will have time in the future to use it. In the meantime, my biggest pleasure is looking Christmas through their eyes. Hugs!!!

I've done 2 moves in the last 2 years - from California to Jenks oklahoma for a few months then to Meridian Idaho. Let me tell you - as you know Sharrah, I can even see it in your face - how hard it is. Having 2 young boys makes it even more difficult. In addition the time you put into your work on KZread and your cottage sounds like an impossible life and I'm amazed you are still sane. I think this move will be fantastic for you. Tyler will be employed and it will take the pressure off you to bring in the bucks. Your cottage is done and now you guys can relax more and be a family. It's the first time I have seen Tyler so happy and that bodes well for your marriage. Hang in there I think God has done you a favor.

Exciting news! Wishing you all the best in Nashville! Norman Rockwell is a fantastic theme - I think I know what I can draw off for next year’s holidays. This year we are doing Peanuts in honor of my late dad. Charlie Brown was always his favorite and he gave his original books to us to read when we were kids so now we (and our kids) love Peanuts too.

We moved from Washington State to Kentucky...that was an unpleasant 1st year of culture shock for me! 😢 But, I did learn to love and appreciate the differences from the West Coast but after 9 years we eventually moved back as my father was ill and I missed my large family. I'm grateful for the experience, learning about Southern culture and having the experience to visit many of the cities & states including Tennessee. It is a pretty state and several friends from our church have moved and bought homes there in the past two years. I'm sure you'll all settle in nicely. Houses are pretty there, too! 😊 You could always lease your house for a year and see how you all adjust to Tennessee with that year?? I learned Home is always where your family is.❤ Best wishes❤

I usually do either grinch or red/white theme in my living room & the rest of the house and gingerbread in the kitchen/dining room. But I think I went overboard on the gingerbread so I make have to make changes in which rooms it goes. I love the Norman Rockwell theme. I might just need to get pictures & use the red/white I have. I already went on shopping sprees for this year BUT I’m hoping to pick up some Norman Rockwell pictures on sale for next year. Congratulations on your move to TN.
