I wouldn't want Naude & Tony creeping on me, but that was a great rescue! For such heavy sleepers, these seals should probably be a little more paranoid that one of the guys is going to pop up during their next nap!

I thought this meant for all of these attempts last year that you couldn't get him, but finally did THIS year, lol. I was thinking "dang, he survived an entire YEAR with that around him??" 😳 So glad they kept trying and finally got it off so he could properly heal! I wonder if they can tell which one he was if they ever came across him again to see how he is doing. ❤

Bad ass don’t quit and they never surrender.

What a brilliant effort, that was far from easy!

All wounds are bad but I always feel a line rubbing and cutting above the flipper is the worst. This wound was terrible and must have been so painful. Now it will still hurt for a while but at least the line won't cut in deeper anymore and he can slowly start to heal. Thank you Naude and Antoine for not giving up and making sure he is rescued. Good name for him too. Thank you OCN!

12 out of 10 for perseverance, patience & compassion 🙌🏻 This bull will have a scar to remind him to avoid fishing line in future, particularly red stuff, &, maybe, attract the female seals looking for more of a 'bad boy' in their bulls!!! 😂 That line would definitely have killed Father Christmas, & in a particularly nasty way too, then where would children across the world get their presents from them??!!
