i accidently found a use for sap fling back then. the sap puddles can resist the effect of t-rex roar. like the zombies remain the same, no speed up at all

Wish I knew that last week.

Maybe a helpful hint: sap fling is best used with pricy and heavy damage dealing plants, such as banana launcher/missile toe, citron and melon pult in fact melon pult + sap fling cost 100 less sun than a single winter melon, however for lower damage lower costing plants snow pea is the superior option nowadys both plants are extremely good but sap fling still gets the edge due to its stalling capabilities also its design is adorable

I can not in words tell you how much I appreciate your uploads I find the interesting and very enticing and I can’t wait for more!

Honestly all 3 plants are useful in their own way Sap-fling: can't deal damage to zombies but has a low sun cost and can halve zombies move speed and attack speed Missile toe: can freeze zombies but has to recharge Holly barrier: can damage zombies attacking it and can launch berries which can be aimed anywhere on the lawn

Also with holly barrier you often forget using the launching barriers because there’s other things you need to focus on the screen

I'm sad cuz this plant is so underrated.

Sab-fling is definitely my favourite plant, I know that he isn’t the best and is useless in Big Wave Beach, but he’s just cool, and considering that I had a cold when I bought him, he was relatable.

Great video! I love hearing you talk about this game with a passion, and I would find it endlessly entertaining to hear you one day contemplate what changes might in theory be made to some plants in order to adjust their balance so that interesting but under-powered plants could actually be played instead of everyone just picking Electric Pea and calling it a day.

Sapfling is situational but not terrible.

I remember when sap fling was first released I was so confused why it doesnt deal damage 😂 that was when I was really new to the game

If I am beig honest, i like missile toe for aesthetic purposes, it kinda looks unique

Holly Barrier and Intensive Carrot are pretty much the new Spring Bean and Blover

Yeah, i completely forgot those plants existed, it also doesn't help that they don't appear in the almanac Great video

I Really Loved Missile Toe She is My Favourite Christmas Plant Infact She is a Better Version of Banana Launcher but Except with Ice and Splash Freezing Effect So She is Way Better and Stronger Than the Banana Launcher.

I like Sapfling because its a pure stall plant and it compliments other plants

Here I'll help; Benefits/Advantages of Sap Fling -can slow enemies a lot -is consistent at throwing and does not have a throw cooldown -can cover more than one tile Disadvantages of Sap Fling -Doesnt deal any damage at all -can sometimes cover one tile over and over again when attacking high health zombie Benefits/Advantages of Missile Toe -Very good damage -can target multiple zombies in one tile -can apply chill when target isn't dead yet -cute noises -basically Banana Launcher but Winter-Mint family lol Disadvantages of Missile Toe -can only target one tile -has a decent cooldown (but still a cooldown nonetheless) -is useless when player is bad at using manual plants -skill issue when player is *that* dumb Benefits/Advantages of Holly Barrier -Is a good defensive plant in it's own -can shoot 4 Barriers that has the health similar to half a walnut -can deal damage similar to endurian -can do knockback one tile (Blover strategy op) -not only plant food shoots 4 Barriers in random tiles but reloads the entire plant completely -Endurian+Banana Launcher+Potato Mine=OP Disadvantages of Holly Barrier -insta-kill zombies such as Explorer zombie, Gargantuar, Etc. (But that's not really that much of a big deal)

@@mochalatte8362 Dissadvantage for Holly Barrier and Missile: They cost real money and are not really worth it. Dissadvantage of Sap Fling - wouldn't be better in most cases have attacker that actually kill stuff instead of slowing stuff?

Great video, but I thought that Sapfling was rather well known.

In conclusion, 3 of them is useful in their own way, even though 3 of them were just upgraded version fo their predecessor.

Not to mention, sap fling has quite A higher health due to its mint family who often have higher health than normal. And holy barrier's ammunition cna be restored by Aloe. I find it odd how upgrading sap fling increases its atk speed.

Listening to the ultimate battle theme on your video made me wish it was still in the game

They should add a deal where you could buy premium plants that need real money to unlock and turn it into gems like sap fling

I need to tell a story about these plants, so in the winter of 2022 i woke one day and for some reason all three of these plants where just there as if i had purchased them. I have no clue how they got there and no i didn't buy them and they haven't disapeared. Anyway great video!

Even if I wanted to praise the holiday plants, the only one who I hold any respect for is Sapfling because there's no pricetag

Honestly all plants are good but i use missletoe mostly because when you have 2 you can freeze the entire 5 lanes and with a maxed out missle toe her recharge is pretty fast, and her sprites are actually pretty cool. But honestly all christmas plants are good. 10/10

I never had any of these plants because all i do is download the game, finish it in a week or so delete then repeat so i just never have a chance to get them

dont question me but i like missie toe (a nickname). she is just cute (pretty), and i think this video only talks about level 1. she has an ability to freeze in higher levelz. though she also has one thing over banana than just acting like chilling banana launcher: 99% chance of keeping (getting if charge isnt ready) a charge after plantfooded only reason i say 99 because i had one time that i didnt have a charge ready after a plant food

Sap-fling has good synergy with Spikeweed/Spikerock/Spear-Mint (bc it Summons 5 lvl 5 Spikerocks)

You should do one on Halloween plants next as well.

Missiletoe is such a wasted potential, it has a nice concept so they could've done so much more to make it more unique and worthy 😮‍💨

sap fling is one of the plants in the feastivus event that i love and pretty good in events so buy it !

I recomend buying all of them because they can all be really good Missile toe is really powerful with winter mint btw

they should add a damage on sap fling example they add a damage (just like spikeweed) on the butter idk

Note: Missile Toe is actually better (imo) in the chinese version: -they give it to you free -it costs 400 sun in level 1 -it damage splashes in a 3x3 area -it's weaker than banana to counter power creep

its only this video that had told me how different the 2 versions of the game are since missiletoe in chinese version is quite powerful (yes there are demonstration videos else where but i never really experienced with the plants shown there, but plants here i did) though i still think sap flinger is kinda useless

random fact not much people know about: missile toe has been HEAVILY BUFFED in the chinese version of pvz2, now she does 3x3 damage and only costs 400 sun, effectively making her a cheap cob cannon that only takes up one tile man chinese version needs some rebalancing

Not to mention, you can beat pretty much every choose your seeds level with holly barrier + blower in penny pursuit

Important reminder: a stallia and a banana launcher projectile don't achieve the same effect as a missile toe projectile. The launcher and stallia are actually strictly better as the non-chill slow effect isn't dispelled by fire attacks.
