Forgot this--remind your viewers to not throw the beads (wet or dry) down the drain since they'll fill up and block water flow. Also, ALWAYS keep them away from little children since it can block their intestines.

I used water beads and pearls of different sizes and colors for part of the reception centerpieces in my daughter’s wedding 5 years ago. Most guests hadn’t seen them before and thought they were pretty cool! I like the different Christmas ideas you’ve shared here … cute and easy! 👍🏻👏🏻

Patti i love the ladder idea to display your little projects such a beautiful statement piece in a room. You could also use a ladder in the bathrooms if you decorate in all the rooms of your house like i do. Christmas is where i can go absolutely hog wild with my décor pieces i don't start decorating until after remembrance day out of respect for the fallen during the various wars in our checkered history. Why can't everyone just get along i say. that way people don't have to die in someone else's war. just because they can't communicate well. I love all the crafts you made they all are so beautiful. especially the owl. i have a soft spot for owls. look forward to the next one, Patti, till then stay safe.

Thank you so much. I may have to decorate the bathroom this year. I put out a lot of decorations for Christmas. My favorite time of year. I try to start just before Thanksgiving even though it drives my husband crazy. LOL. I agree that it would be nice is everyone did get along, it would be a much better world. Have a wonderful week.

Loved the easy-to-follow directions for the ladder. I'm not quite that good with tools but we do have a handyman that I occasionally give an idea to and he'll whip it out in hardly no time. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Enjoyed the little owl

Last Christmas I had my baptism by water beads😂😂😂 WAY too many and my husband called me to the dining room to find beads on the table and carpet!! But I do love them now❤❤

Omg! Yes I have used those beads before, not realizing how big they get, I had beads all over my kitchen! The floor, the table, chairs and those buggers are so so slippery! Lol but my grandson had a blast! ( when he left to go back home, his beads "dissappeared"! LOL

I had them everywhere too. I can't believe how high they bounce. I started with more the first try and OMG I had to transfer them to so many different containers. They would not stop growing. LOL

We got the Orbeez brand for kids, they come in all colors and are so inexpensive, but like you said a little goes a long long way, lol

If you want to use the painted beads in you water bead jars, just seal them with a Polycrylic. I use two coats to make sure they seal well and I know they do last several months at least because i do the seasonally. Once i take them out and make sure they are dry, I will coat them again with the Polycrylic before i store them away. Just a thought since so many of the bearries and beads you can use are painted.

Loved your Christmas crafts

Love the lamppost-I want to do this for the side of my front door that doesn’t have the ‘old folks’ railing on it. It’s under cover so I think it will be okay. Love the ladder-you decorated it so pretty. Thanks for sharing

For those that do'nt do a lot of woodworking, when using a table saw or miter saw, you lose between an 1/8 to a 1/4 of an inch per cut. So if you mark 4 pieces at say 12", 24", 36" & 48" your measurements will not be as you expected. If you want your pieces cut to exact sizes, measure and cut the first, then either measure and cut each afterwards or use your first cut piece as the guide to cut the rest.
