I did my festive food shop earlier this year too but found the veg wasn't as good and the dates on the hummus and some of the cooked meats were short. I guess I shopped before they got that big delivery for those who shop at the last minute! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm sure it will all be fine though. I'm certainly not going out to the shops again that's for sure 😀😀😀

sophie collins you did no that chickens have to stay indoors because of bird flu there classed as indoor barn eggs now until the government say its safe for them to come out that's why eggs are expensive now

@@catherinebarlow3079 yes I do 🙂 I have chickens myself (currently not laying dur to winter so I am also buying shop eggs unfortunately) who are currently confined due to bird flu but they have a large covered run with perches etc. I appreciate it’s not easy at the moment but these big boxes of plastic packaging eggs are never free range regardless they are in cardboard packaging at times. Chickens are such amazing creatures they deserve far better than they are often treated.
