Yes, it is sad to see Mandy leave (as well as Nati & Selmar feeling under the weather) 😔. I'm glad Mandy got some 🎁pretty prezzi's to remind her of her stay. Hope she returns one day too. 🍥Enjoyed her baking, and would so appreciate her German recipes, so I can try to recreate. Superb versatility of dough for different dietary issues too. 🙏 Pretty please with sugar on top!? Tried to look up something online, but didn't understand the unfamiliar 😣names. Not looking forward to🐱Kat's departure at all😆. @@teresacarle294 anyway one looks at it 'mulish', stubborn is difficult to deal with. Being in a relationship: social, personal, work related with someone who is rather obstinate, headstrong, self-willed, unyielding, can be exhausting.

I will miss Mandy! Even though we didn't get to see a whole bunch of her since she was mostly behind the camera, it was a treat to get to see her sweet and calming persona. She seemed like a natural fit with the rest of the group.

What a great idea to add fresh greenery to the artificial! It looks so full and lush!

Tonight we go into tier 4, it’s made me cry so much, But these daily videos are a needed escape from the harsh reality. @@jodybennett6720 Because it’s upsetting, I don’t understand why you are questioning my upset. Sorry you’ve had COVID but I didn’t give it to you and I’m obviously taking lockdown seriously because I’m upset that I’m separated from those I love and had plans to spend Xmas with. I also help a little old Lady with C.O.P.D and she was coming to mine for Xmas dinner, now she is all alone on Xmas day and lives too far to just drop a dinner off on the doorstep and I do not drive, my friend can not drive me because of the bubble system, taxis I doubt will be running as you can not mix. I’m just fortunate that I haven’t done the food shop and wasted loads of money but I worry there won’t be enough food with the panic buyers. If the panic buying gets out of hand, there will be families without food and children without toys. People usually get paid just before Xmas. I hope my reasons for being upset are now justified.

Prayers for the little, old lady down the lane, I do hope someone near her can help her out and prayers to you and yours and all of the others that are going through tough times or that are just a bit lonely, through this difficult season. @@hahna77 Thank you for your kind words and prayers it means a lot, As for my little old lady, me and my daughter are going to do the hours walk there and back 30 mins each way to meet her outside with a cold plate of food and her present, I can’t bare the thought of her being stuck in her flat on her own. She was really looking forward to coming over and getting out, she got her hair cut and picked out her outfit it’s gutting. I wish you and your family love and blessings x ❤️

I am an American. The pickle tradition is very common in the U.S. among families of German and Polish descent.

Philip has a wonderful speaking voice and certainly dresses well. Making roping over faux greens is a great idea, Mary.

The decorations are great. I add evergreens cuttings the way Mattie did, also to my wreath. The pickle is German. Who ever finds the pickle in the tree wins a gift. Hope everyone sick feels better soon.

There is actually a blue garlic variety called Greek Blue. Probably not quite as blue as Philip's. Apparently blue cooked garlic is a thing and also safe to eat!
