Happy Halloween and welcome to Christmas haha! Remember to let me know your favorite Christmas decoration down below! That piece you always look forward to bringing out and makes you smile!
I don't have just one. I have several. A little plastic sleigh with Santa and reindeer (got at a 5 and 10 store when my 3 girls were little they are now in their mid 50's) and probably 2 dozen or more ornaments made by my children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren. There is no amount of money that could buy these precious memories from me or could replace them. Every one of these ornaments brings back a flood of memories of Christmases past. I dearly love every one of them

Beautiful!!! Just beautiful memories! Thank you so much for sharing!
My mom’s manger it has a blue likght and I use to stare at the stars and baby Jesus she bought it in Germany where my dad was stationed she was wanting something else so she gave it to me and I still catch myself turning lights on and looking at Jesus and what he has done for us 💚thank you for sharing
I absolutely LOVE those pieces! My favorite piece is one that I have loved as long as I can remember! I can remember when I was very little and my Mom would bring it out and let me put all the pieces in place, then you knew Christmas was here! Well 3 years ago I was lucky enough to inherit it from my Mom and the best thing is she made it! So, my favorite decoration is a (pretty large) lighted ceramic Christmas Tree that my Mom made at my Aunt’s ceramic shop the year I was born 1974 and someday my daughter (because she is the oldest and claimed it lol) will inherit it ❤️🎄
Hi Missy, One trick I love with my village is that I put a string of white lights under my "snow". It really gives a beautiful glow under the cotton and makes it more magical in the evening.

Beautiful pieces! Such a special tradition and wonderful treasures to hand down to your son in the future. Love the Santa and reindeer so much ❤
You’re going to love collecting new pieces for your village 🏠. I’ve collected off and on since the late 80’s. Love my village ❤️. I have a few favorites when it comes to ornaments. A little handmade stuffed heart that my Sister-in-law made for me when I was a kid, little salt dough ornaments and a vintage Santa ornament that’s from the 70’s. Can’t wait to see your home all decorated for Christmas, this year 🎅🏻🎄🤶🏼
Fun video. Christmas village will be a keepsake for your child(ren) in the future. Thanks for sharing.

See ya later Halloween!! Hello Christmas 🌲
Somehow I missed this video last week! I love your Christmas village and am sure you will have years of enjoyment from it. I had a Dept 56 Dickens Village years ago (when I was much younger!) and always looked forward to displaying it each Christmas.
Love your Christmas village, especially the camper.
Thanks for the Video! I Pull out my Handmade Christmas Ornaments that my Children made in School and at home! I raised a Daughter a Son than Raised my Daughter’s lil Girl ! Love all of thier homemade Ornaments!
At first I thought you were superwoman to have all the Halloween decor put away and bringing out Christmas decor, then I saw some spiders in the side view and realized you cleaned off the fireplace mantle. Can’t wait to join in all your Christmas decorating fun.
Love seeing Christmas going up! I plan to get my tree and things up this week. My favorite thing to put up is my Willow Nativity! ♥️

Thank you! Tree going up here as well this week! :) The Willow pieces are beautiful!
I’m not ready to decorate yet and won’t until weekend after Thanksgiving. However, it was nice to watch you put yours up.
My son's friends have Christmas decor up in their college apartments already. They are not there over Christmas break so they put them up early so they can enjoy them before coming home for winter break. Love the village!
So ready!! Started on my fireplace decor today!!! 💚♥️🎄🎅🏻

I’m SO happy for you! For as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of having a huge Christmas village, and way back in the 2000 I started mine when I scored a beautiful Dept 56 North Pole item 75% off at my local Hallmark store. At this point, my village covers my antique buffet and is several layers tall. I loved it so much, a few years ago I started a Halloween village! 🧡🌾🎃🍁
Love the village. I have one with lots of pieces. I don't have room to put it all. I bought some pieces off facebook and now I don't have room for all of them lol. Oh well! My tree has always been my favorite. I have a Halloween tree up now. I'm gonna decorate it for Thanksgiving this week. Then My big Christmas tree after Thanksgiving.

Thank you! Cannot go wrong with a tree! We love sitting and looking at ours in the dark in the evening! All the twinkling lights!
Favourite decoration : the tree of course, its the centre piece but i also have been doing a village the past 2 years, this year its going to be bigger and better than last but not better then next years, merry christmas thanks for the video.
Hello! Other than the fact that it feels PECULIAR to b watching a Christmas vid while wearing bat earrings , a black cat tee, and a skirt covered in a glow-in-the dark cat pattern, it was fun to see u start a new tradition for your son. We did the same thing with the Christmas Village for our adult son, Devin a few years ago. We gave him his dad's. And the first thing i did after he put it up was to go out and buy him lots more trees !!!!! So good instinct there. Thank u for all of your engaging and beautiful vids !

Haha, I'm sitting in my Halloween cat pullover as I sit here and chat with all of you! :) That's wonderful and thank you so much! We look forward to collecting over the years and passing it on to him!
Sweet little village. I want to go into the shop, get a cocoa, and ride that merry go round. I have a small village that I have had many years that I enjoy, as well as a farm village that I think I bought from Michael's and decorated many, many, years ago. Happy Halloween, too. I hope your's was fun.
Excellent start to a lovely tradition for your family. My department 56 village is my favorite to decorate with for Christmas. I’ve been collecting mine for about 20 years. I’ve even found pieces at goodwill for as low as $6.00. So keep an eye out when you’re thrifting. Also, you can get light bulb strips with multiple bulbs on them so you don’t need an outlet for each building.

The Department 56 pieces are fabulous! Loved the O Holy Night house they came out with this year! I'll definitely keep an eye out then and thanks for the tip on the lights as our village grows! :)

OK you know I'm going to say it because I have two..cats cats cats🐈 lol our cats would destroy that village like godzilla. Lol especially flying santa. 🤣

Beautiful village! Great video!
Oh Missy I absolutely love the idea of you starting a New Christmas tradition with your Son still home. Making Memories is so special & will be very special to him when he has children. Your village is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see your Vintage Christmas decor this year.
Those village pieces are so cute! It will be a nice tradition for your family. I collect Halloween pieces from Dept 56 and Lemax. I also have a collection of Dickens village that my sons have bought me. They are so much to set up! TFS
Your village is beautiful. I had a flying Santa once that played "Here Comes Santa Claus". I lost it in a move and have never found another one. I love the 4-wheeler with the little dog.

Thank you! The little 4-wheeler is a heavy little piece! Very well made!
I have the vintage cardboard houses and paper mache tree that is lit by a small light bulb . These have been on either my parent's mantle or mine since I can remembet
I look forward to the ornaments. Especially the one the kids made. Also some decor that I grew up with. It's nostalgia. Such a great idea missy! Starting a new tradition! 💖
I loved this video , the music is so beautiful. My favorite Christmas decoration is my Christmas village. I started with a few houses that l got on eBay for my classroom, and then brought it home when my daughter was in high school and just kept it at home ( she liked it ) and we added to it. When l move, l am giving it to my grandsons for their house. If you watch Life With Maryann and Joe, they did a fabulous video last year on decorating with their village . Hope you have a fun night .

My favorite is the carousel! I like how you put a few sparkles on the bottom to look like ice. My absolute favorite thing is to help the kids decorate the tree. I let them do 90% of it and then touch up. 😉 Have a happy Halloween!

Thank you! Awwww my mom always let us do the same when we were little and as I grew older I loved rearranging the presents under the tree! Happy Halloween!
I use to collect the ones from Kohls they always had them on sale but it got to much for me to set them up... so I finally sold them and I just set up small trees 3....and other decor...the older you get it does get harder to set up and tear down...
Hi, I just had to pop on to say please be careful with the Philip’s box on your mantle as there’s a real danger of it overheating wrapped up in the fake snow. They need free air circulation around them. 🙂

Hi, Just wanted to ask you if you have any videos at thrift shops that are not any holiday related at all - just regular purchase of things, etc? Thank you.
