Christmas Cards with NO SCRAPS

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A template for Stack, Cut and Shuffle uses 6x6 paper in a 4 Sheet Wonder with Zero Scraps. This set of cards is destined to be part of a larger set made for donation. And the focal incorporates commercial gift tags! Easy and Quick!! And best of all - No Scraps leftover!!! This is a great way for someone who does not have stamps to still make Christmas cards to send.

Hi Terrie - I think 6x6 is the easiest paper to use completely. Especially if you try to use a little strip inside!

I love the concept of the cut and shuffle that leaves zero scraps! I’m always on the hunt for one sheet wonders that actually have the correct measurements on them (so many on Pinterest don’t) and also ones that leave zero scraps! I’m looking forward to trying your plan to make some Valentine’s Day cards that will be donated to local seniors! Thank you for sharing your plan with the measurements!

Hi there Julia. I have quite few Christmas 6x6 inch paper pads, and this video was very interesting, and helpful especially when I get to making my Christmas cards. Your paper layouts for all your cards are fabulous, and they look so much nicer than store bought Christmas cards! They also appear very quick to make, and I am sure that is a plus for you considering that you make hundreds of cards that you donate to the seniors. I would think that the most time-consuming aspect to these cards is the preparation. When I saw you cutting four sheets at once I thought... why don't I do that?! Maybe the reason is that I don't make as many cards as you!!! Your Hobby Lobby and the Dollar Tree appear to be fantastic places to shop for craft supplies, and other gizmos like storage solutions. It would be lovely if we had them here in Australia. Julia, have you started your Autumn/fall cards yet? 🍁🍂🍁 Have a wonderful day in your craft studio and enjoy your Autumn/fall. Blessings, love and hugs from your Aussie friend Gloria! 🥰☕🥪🧁🌻💖💕 P.S - What... NO SCRAPS!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Hello my Aussie Friend - I hope today is kind and beautiful for you! Has your Spring sprung yet? Our Autumn is slow starting, we are still very warm even in the night. There are all kinds of Stack Cut and Shuffle layouts. But they never seem to use up the entire piece of paper. I have a second template that I use also, and it has zero scraps too. They both work well and give you some pieces for the inside of the cards which you know I like. OK now let's set the record straight - I don't make hundreds of Christmas cards. I think it is only 140 this year. My personal list has shrunk a bit, it used to be 160. This Thursday's scrap card video starts Autumn/Fall cards. I really need to get busy with them because I have some Fall Birthdays coming very soon! Take care of You!! Julia

I have those same tags that I used for my cards. It’s quite challenging for me to mass produce my cards because we moved from Pittsburgh, where I had my game room as my crafting space, to Garden City, SC to a 3 bedroom condo! Oh Lisa I am sorry you miss your old space. I know at some point we will get too old to manage the farm and kennel, and will have to move. It will be very hard to downsize my studio. And I have moved it around the house 3-4 times and love the light in this room. But, I have also done some wonderful classes out of a crop bag. So, I think you will get used to your space and do just fine! The important thing is to love what you are doing! And give that hubby lots of Hugs!!

I live in GA and downsized from 3,000 ft to 2400. I went thru everything in my craft room and everything I had not used in the last year, I packed to donate. After I made the decision, it wasn’t that hard. I donated all my paper to the library in my new town. Their appreciation made my sadness ok. The rest (not much) I gave to crafting friends. I am glad I did it. I had paper 5-6 years old I had never used. Once you make the decision, it will be ok. Did you say u were moving to GA? Love your shows
