I bet I could turn that tv on. Just walk right up to it , grab a knob and turn it on. And watch it. I miss those days.

I like old home movies. They are a cool look into a past sometimes remembered. My parents have lots of photos from this time with my grandparents too. I loved looking through them as a child always asking my parents who people were if I didn't recognize them.

Things weren"t simpler back then, they just had grownups that took care of all that stuff for you.

I was born in 1953 and the grownups had their share of struggles back then. Us children were taught how to help out, how to respect others and how to become decent citizens. It wasn't as easy as you think!!!!

One thing I remember about shooting 8mm movies was the hot, bright light you had to use. It was always fun to get the projector and set the screen up to watch our home movies though. I wonder what they would think of our technology now?

Good resolution for 8mm but why is the camera so "jumpy?"

It took money to afford a color camera not to mention the film. I had a close family in 1963 and my parents took photos but couldn't afford moving pictures.

I was thinking someone was doing well in this family. TV sets were still rare & there are a lot of resents under that tree. Nice big living room too. 🎄
