It’s only reverting back to your original form that’s gory, mainly since, in this case, there was more mass than what the original form provided. It’s like chicks breaking out of the shell or butterflies coming out of metamorphosis, but in reverse i.e. instead of getting bigger, you’re “shrinking” back. I’m just thinking how reverting back from a smaller form would look like. Bones breaking and skin/tissue/muscle stretching back to the original shape?

Starred in minor roles in Mad Max: Fury Rd, The Neon Demon , Office Christmas Party and Gods of Egypt. Since before she began acting I have a been very fond of her ! So glad she is doing what she loves. Clearly can act well and gets to play a character with psychic powers. Work sis 🙌

It makes sense for the characters, they went through terrible shit because of white people and because of the systematic racism of that time (which still exists) they know that white people can't be left with magic that powerful. The times on their own make no difference as they quite literally possessed all the comic wisdom and yet still decided to end things by making an entire race the bad guy. They saw the past, presence, and the future and still chose to make "whites" the evil people no matter if the individual ever even had any kind of racist thought. Christina herself told that to Ruby when Ruby tried to guilt-trip Christina by using the history of black people. She literally told her "Your right, I don't care for that girl. I don't care what happens to black people, I just care about magic.". If they wanted to make things balanced they could have cut everybody of magic, but they didn't, they cut of white people specifically. Leaving the access to everyone capable BUT "whites". That's target hate. They saw the future, they knew the point towards which we would eventually get and still decided to go "an eye for an eye" on the whole race. The show ended with a black girl quite literally holding all the power in her hand which she used to crush the throat of a white woman... That's not equality that's just a shift in power. That's just an eye for an eye. Cosmic wisdom of the universe wasted on hate...

What in God's name possessed people to cancel a show this good,after just one season.

@@OnMiSole Why? Because she played Black Canary? Not to burst your bubble, but Birds of Prey was horrible... Also, best doesn't mean the most famous from the cast. Performance-wise in this show alone, Christina's actress and Rubys actress are tied for the number 1 spot (in my book). Can't honestly decide whose acting was better, but purely from character interest, Christina won me over more. Jurnee's character was interesting in the first few episodes but got really annoying as the show went on... And I have to refer to Jurnee's character as well, "Jurnee's character" because I don't even remember her name... She might be a talented actress, but she left no impression this time honestly.

This is so realistic her transforming back to normal what if mystique was like that and not so smooth as she is

Also racist or not, Lovecraft was still one of the greatest writers of all time. And his stories were nothing if not unique, mysterious, and creative. His creations, especially in this golden age of Nerdom are pretty much, immortalized thx to the Cuthulian lore! The man sure had his tiny flaws but he left this world with something unique and amazing! You gotta appreciate that at least. :)
